I started taking salsa classes at Latin Energy a year ago and haven't stopped dancing since. I have also taken bachata and performance courses. The instructors are amazing; very friendly and helpful. I've made so many great friends in the classes and at the socials. If you would like to learn how to dance, you found the best place, Latin Energy Dance Company!

Wow, can I just say, this place is the absolute best place. I dabbled i latin dance in my teenage years but when my girlfriend Jenny decided it would be a nice thing to try, I never expected how much I would enjoy it. Latin Energy is phenomenal! They have a wonderfully safe space and such fantastic instructors. I highly recommend Latin Energy! On 2, raz-M tazz ha ha ha!

UPDATE: I have now been to 4 of their social nights (performed at one of them) and I had the time of my life at every occasion! The DJ usually plays a mix of 3 salsa songs and 2 bachata songs and adds a chacha/other Latin genre in there. They always have a dance lesson before the event (one for beginners, one for intermediates) and it really helps set a fun, open-minded and welcoming mood for everyone, from beginner to professional. It's worth noting that apart from their salsa and bachata classes, I've taken their Latin mix" class

LATIN ENERGY is the best dance academic, is fun and friendly ...Great school. Great teachers. Great functions. ....i recommend Latin energy to anyone that is a beginner or advance dancer, because I have tried a few different schools in the GTA and to me Latin Energy is the best. The instructors are very detail oriented and create a welcoming environment and encourage you to achieve your full potential in dance.

After studying Latin Dance at multiple studios across Toronto and Mississauga, I can confidently say that Latin Energy has the best value, with high quality lessons and reasonable prices. They offer classes for all levels in numerous genres like Salsa and Bachata. What drew me to Latin Energy in the first place was the astounding accomplishments of Latin Energy founder, Vanesa Stay (Not only is she a phenomenal Latin Dance teacher, she is also a professional performer, choreographer, and judge for the World Latin Dance Cup)! Also, the course instructors are all incredible! My salsa teacher Vanessa G. is professional, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make learning dance a welcoming, fun experience. She is a wonderful teacher who is patient with her students and really takes the time to give personalized feedback. My first experience with Latin Energy was at the Masquerade Ball last September. We were treated to an impressive Latin Dance Show followed by an enjoyable evening of music, social dancing, and a complementary Bachata lesson. The energy in the room was vibrant and everyone had a great time! I would 10/10 recommend Latin Energy to anyone who is interested in dance!

Latin dancing was a dream of mine for many years! I came to Latin Energy in 2016 with my friend to bring excitement and joy in our lives. The school is great! The instructors are amazing - professional, caring, sexy, and fun! I’ve a met a lot of great people there and made friends. I started with Salsa lessons, and now I really enjoy Bachata classes! For years, I have been wanting to learn how to salsa and I’m so happy my friend found Latin Energy. The instructors are amazing as well as patient and we are having a fantastic time. I look forward to the group lessons ever week. It’s the highlight thing of my week. Everyone is so much fun and supportive.

Latin Energy is a fantastic place to learn to dance and meet new friends.On my first day when I joined Latin Energy group classes, I got amazed by the level of technique and knowledge of teaching.Also, for anyone who is new… their monthly dance parties are so amazing… so much fun.I can’t thanks Vanessa enough and her crew for helping me with my dancing and for all the energy they have shared!

I have been taking lessons here since January of 2020. I started with Salsa and now take both Salsa and bachata. The instructors are professional while still making class fun. Always receive the constructive feedback in order to improve - making social dancing more fun!!! Look forward to classes every week.

Where do I start! Let's start from the beginning...At the beginning of last year 2022, I had previously written down some new activities I wanted to try out (improv, yoga, and dance) outside of my normal hobbies (i.e. sports). For dance, I was choosing between Swing Dance and Latin Ballroom. I had no prior experience, let alone any dance background, but wanted to challenge myself.
