STAY AWAY!!We had been to Jackson for a lunch during the past summer and found it good but pricey. A neighbour raved about the restaurant as THE place for a steak, and so we went to try the dinner menu.Granted it was close to Christmas, and we arrived without a reservation, but we were seated promptly, menus presented, drink orders taken. There seemed to be a lot of noise coming from another section of the restaurant, and it turned out that there was a group of 30 or so as well as the rest of the restaurant being reasonably full. It took a while for the drink orders to come and by then we were more than ready to order. Orders were taken, no problem, it will be up shortly.And then we began The Wait. We were not the only ones on the non-group side of the restaurant who waited a crazy-long time for food, for appetizers, for salads, for mains. The wait staff tried their darnedest to be upbeat about it, but your order is coming right up

Been eating in here couple of times and always amazed by the quality of the food and service. Their cheesecake is to die for! They make everything from scratch and you can absolutely taste the difference compares to a lot of franchise restaurants. Owner is super nice and will definitely recommend the place to my friends!

Below average quality food, exceptionally poor service. While we were a table of 12 (with a reservation) and I can appreciate some delay between plates coming out, but it took approx 25min for all of our meals to be served. Not once did anyone come ask us if we wanted additional drinks. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

Jackson's Steak & Grill House
Went a few times. It was run by a grumpy old man and the food was just ok. I went back this year noticed that they have changed the menu. Foods also look and taste different so I ask the server. She said they are a new team recently take over the restaurant. Anyway the steak was really good. They definitely homemade the sauce, because it has more natural mild flavor than some other chemical-taste sauce made from bottle/can ingredients

I have not been to dine at Jackson's since this past summer, however since I moved to the area two years ago I have been many times. It has always been outstanding. Last week I took my out of town guest to what I told them was the best place in Chilliwack, I was utterly disappointed. We all ordered appetizers and the Surf & Turf special. The steak was tiny and thin and over cooked and the Salmon was dry. The food overall was tasteless and disappointing! I could have got a better meal at the pub down the street and paid less than half the price. I would not recommend it to anyone anymore nor will I return.

Owner is a scumbag. We went last night for dinner. My daughter ordered off the childs menu and after even clarifying the meal with the waitress she was served something different that she wouldn't eat. We sent it back...they offered to make it again but we were done eating our meals and declined. The waitress presented us the FULL bill for the meal that was sent back. We asked her to remove it from our bill and we were told that she could not do that and if we didn't pay for it, she would have to pay out of her pocket. She removed the item and told us to never mind she would pay for it. I felt obligated at that time to tip enough to cover it.Called the owner today who simply stated that it wasn't true asked me to describe the waitress even asked me if she was a fat girl....never once offered anything else to me, but left me with the impression that the waitress would be getting it". If you work for this establishment and this is in fact a common practice of the ownership....GO TO EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS!!!!"

Jackson's Steak & Grill House
Six of us had dinner there in mid July and loved the decor, the great food and the wonderful service. The cheesecake was just too delicious and the steak was as good as any Keg. We met the family that runs the place and were touched by their willingness to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy with everything. We'll be back! Thinking of hiring them to cater some events for us.

Great food. I have tried a few of their dishes and never have been disappointed. Their salmon dishes are amazing. Also recommends spinach dip and seafood pasta.Their service is little tricky situation. Many tables have blocked view and not easily noticed by servers. Probably, that is the main problem with slow service. Everyone is friendly!Highly recommend.

We ordered the 10oz Prime Rib and it was the smallest portion I've ever seen for the $28 price and the food was horrible. Had it sent back due that it wasn't even hot. Yorkshire pudding was dry and burnt.They had no heat on it was so cold as well as our food.Then I finally tracked down the owner who was our server and asked for horseradish which they had none.Second bad experience at Jackson Steak House
