Vintage Swiss Watch Servicing, Repair, & Restoration | Precision Horology | Canada | We are a Canadian based watchmaker who concentrate on the servicing, repair and restoration of vintage watches. Precision Horology is a WOSTEP trained workshop with a background working at Rolex and on many other brands independently. Brands serviced include Omega, Rolex, Tudor, Longines, Breitling, IWC, Le-Coultre, Doxa, Bulova, Hamilton, Girard-Perragaux, Universal Geneve, Venus, Patek Philippe, Zenith, Wittnauer, Seiko, King Seiko, Grand Seiko and more.

I had Ashton do a complete overhaul on one my watches and couldn't be happier. He is clearly passionate about watches and offers great advice on the work that should be done. He provides a detailed write-up of the work done, providing a clear record of the service completed. I also appreciate how he has access to OEM parts which feels like a rarity these days.

I recently sent my vintage Seiko chronograph to Ashton for a full movement service and crystal replacement. Ashton was a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and he clearly understands how important it is to watch collectors to keep the watch original whenever possible. The watch was returned cleaned and running exceptionally well. Ashton will be my watchmaker of choice going forward. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from Ashton. I brought in my Panerai PAM 111 and he provided an estimate on the spot with a very quick turnaround. Ashton did a small video and took some photographs of the service to provide insight into the service of my watch. I would highly recommend him if you need service for your watch as he is very professional and courteous with his clients.

I brought my Dad’s vintage Breitling for its first service. Ashton did an amazing job and was delivered exactly when promised. He kept me up to date through the process and provided an excellent service report. Will definitely use him again.

Took the time to read and research the blogs and reviews prior to taking my watch in for repair. Ashton is a straight up, friendly and very knowledgeable individual. I totally recommend his services from the very basic to the highly intricate detailed watch work....He performed a major service on my chronograph and it is running like new. Very pleased.

Ashton came highly recommended to me a couple of years ago. He's restored/repaired a couple of my Omega's and I've been very pleased with the results. He's patient and very professional. The last work he did required him to FedEx the watches back to me. Wow - they were packaged up to survive anything. I'll be back with any other watch work I need done - regardless of where he's located.

Researching Ashton, his numerous articles, etc., made me comfortable he knows his stuff. Dropping off first watch for service, Ashton was friendly and personable, but more importantly effective: watch ready in just over a week, a very reasonable price (relative to Ottawa’s authorized service centre, which promised 2 – 4 months), and great results. Having my watch featured on his blog was a plus. Second watch took longer (waiting for a special crystal), but even better: he over-delivered on unexpected cleaning of a face with some cosmetic issues. Will definitely return when I have another watch in need of service.

Super satisfied! Ashton completed a complete service on my Omega with a replacement of the spring and a polish. Looks great! These days where do you find a skilled watch craftsman that takes pride in his work and is very knowledgeable ? Very pleased and highly recommend!
