Dapper Dogs

Took my dog in here to get a full groom. They were very nice, took all my concerns in (I have an elderly dog in good shape, but some ailments) and they were quick. I cant say enough how friendly they were too. The shop has a lot of treats and chews and accessories too, couldn't help but pick up a treat! Dog looked spectacular! Did a great wash, nails, trim. She looks so good!

New client here. My dog ( golden/rough collie mix) had very first grooming appointment at Dapper Dogs. She looks so pretty now. They did exactly what I asked them to do and I'm super happy. Reasonably priced. Like the boutique inside as well. Definitely will be back. Thank you!

Had our large Sheppard/Collie cross in for a grooming and they did a excellent job!

do not book here. i would rate 0 stars if possible. my dog was brought here twice, the first time she was nicked but we believed she must’ve been squirming during the grooming and brushed it off. the second time she came back with a full blown razor burn due to being shaved in incorrect places and down to the skin (down her tail) causing dermatitis on my dog which then resulted in her needing a cone and meds twice a day, and a $300 vet visit (the vet could see where she was shaved and injured.) the situation was handled extremely unprofessionally by the owner, which i am seeing is how she handles everyone’s concerns after reading her responses on the other negative reviews. cannot take blame. we did not originally ask for a refund, only acknowledgment so it could be a teaching moment and avoided for other dogs. keep your dogs safe and book elsewhere.

My dog had his first groom at Dapper Dogs today. I was unable to get him in to his regular groomer for a few weeks so called Dapper Dogs and they gave me a next day appointment. He was done quickly and came out so cute and fluffy and was trimmed exactly as I requested. Super happy with his cut and I think we’ll stick with you, Dapper Dogs! Thank you!

I always take both our dogs here to get nail trims regularly and they always do a great job. Finn doesn't whine or cry like he did with other places we went to, and they always tell us he does well with them. Sometimes I can even call the same day and get in for 5 mins to get a trim, which is convenient.

Take all three of our dogs here ! They do an amazing job every time. We have two corgis and a golden and every time they come out looking perfect! They know just how to shape their hair perfectly ! My golden is sensitive with his ears and used to hate going to the groomer, within a couple visits with dapper he’s running into the building! All three boys love seeing the girls there and are always excited to go in!

Unfortunately our second experience with DD wasn’t very good. Our first experience was great.Disclaimer: this issue was caused by us pet owners as we didn’t catch the mats behind our Golden’s ears earlier. So am not putting blame on them for what they had to do but more so their reaction to our concern with the aftermath of them cutting out mats.First picture is her left ear which after 3 days has healed well, 2nd and 3rd picture her right ear..... After raising concern with Jenelle and sharing pictures she was very professional and timely in her response, however the exchange left me feeling like a poor pet owner and that they shouldered zero blame for the reaction my dog’s skin took to a fairly routine removal of heavy mats with a surgical blade.My wife and I have been “Golden” owners for a combined 14 years, in which both dogs received professional grooming at a minimum of twice per year, and even with claiming that again I reiterate that I understand why and how the mats happened. All I was looking for was a sincere apology, a brief explanation of why (educationally) and maybe a partial monetary consideration towards the next grooming. What I got was a this is why, again; this is why and that’s what happens. Never once did I ask for a refund ($102 with tip) as people should be paid for their professional services, however professional services should not leave my dog bleeding and scabbed 3 days later.I’m not sure if it was Jenelle who groomed her as I’ve read some fantastic reviews about her skills, and before this exchange had it my mind that next time maybe I would just request her.... Unfortunately though I will not be using DD in the future.Moral of the review: Brush your whole dog not just the main body, and ask that groomers contact you if they find they need to use surgical tools or cut out mats.

Such great staff, very attentive and treat you like family. My dogs are very iffy with people, but they are always happy and excited to go to there. It's a little on the pricey side, but they do a great job

We brought our 3 northern rescues, who are groomed regularly. We wanted to find a closer groomer. The receptionist, although very sweet, didn’t write down a single note to relay to the groomers. Our dogs had very different, but specific needs. We essentially paid $400 for them to have a bath & nail clip. We specifically told the receptionist we needed our husky/shepherd X deshedded...we detailed to her the cut/trim needed for each. I wondered at the time how she would relay this to the actual groomers!! I’ve never NOT spoken to the actual groomers, at any reputable pet grooming. Plus, the quoted price was WAY lower than the actual price. We had to take two of our dogs to another groomer for proper care.
