Went in because my truck was having issues and I had some concerns, Jeremy was great and explained how some things were not as bad as I thought and also explained how some of my issues could be resolved cost effectively.

By far the best car repair/maintenance shop I have been to. I live in Langford but still come to these guys to get my car serviced. I almost spend over 2k on regular" maintenance that my car dealership would have charged me. Good thing I double checked with these guys as almost all of the charged service were not needed. The guys at Fernwood Auto service are reliable

Been doing business here for 24 years. Robb and his sons are honest and knowledgeable. Just picked up my car. Had taken it in thinking it needed brakes. Turned out it didn't. Almost anywhere else I'd be looking at a 600 dollar bill for something I really didn't need.

If you’re a young woman I highly recommend taking your car here. They are very honest and kind, and will respectfully explain whats going on with your car, and give you advice on wether you need to fix an issue now or not. I bought my first (used) car and took it here to have it inspected in case there were any maintenance issues. I was worried that a mechanic was going to talk down to me, or take advantage of my lack of knowledge and up-charge me. But these guys were wonderful- they charged me $70 to do a full look over the car (cheaper than other places I called). They found a few minor issue which they explained to me in a kind and respectful manner (they guy was drawing little diagrams for me, so helpful!). But the best part was: they totally could have said that i had to fix all of this now and made extra money off me, but instead they gave me advice on the severity of the issue, how long I had before I needed to do the maintenance, and tips on how to do it myself if I wanted to. I’ll definitely be going back!

Rob and the guys at the shop were wonderful! I am very grateful how honest and willing to work with my budget they were! Very knowledgeable, and just overall great people. Would recommend to anyone for car services, especially people with very limited car knowledge, they don’t take advantage of you here.

Could not have had a better experience. These guys are so helpful and really took the time to explain things thoroughly and answer any questions I had. They were very transparent which allowed to make well-informed decisions on what fixes to do/what could wait. All around super trustworthy and pleasant, thank you guys so much!
