Glenmore Heights

I've been a tenant for 3 years now and my experience living in these buildings has been positive! I moved in just after Quadreal took over the building and I have seen the efforts to improve the building over time (cleaner, better security, better maintenance staff). The building is even decorated at holidays and there are flowers planted during the summer. The building is kept clean and is always safe- there is a security guard as well to monitor the parking lots. I have found the main staff friendly and cooperative and they try to be understanding with the tenants and our needs. The walls are concrete so there is very little noise between apartments and most people are respectful of keeping parties quiet after 11. Repairs happen- its an older building- but are becoming less and less frequent as it gets fixed up. There is a lot to do nearby and the train is close enough for communting around the city.There is safe parking available (~$35/ month for the outside parking with electrical and more for the parkade). There is no grocery store close by, so if you don't have a car you will need to commute about 30-40 minutes. Laundry on site is convenient and the machines are well maintained.

The warm greeting and the planning that went into it. Especially the gifts and welcome note put on the counter. It was endearing and considerate.

I have just moved out of Glenmore Heights and i was an amazing 6 years at this community. There have been some challenges but i found the office responsive. Every interactions with the Community Manager was good and she was always willing to help. I had a bit of security concern but they had an event where the Calgary Police came in to address all residents, shared safety tips etc. They also now have security. I see a couple of negative reviews here but i must say that the improvement at this Community in the past two years has been huge. I would rent from them again if i ever have to live in Calgary again. Thanks Glenmore Heights Team.

The managers are extremely kind and helpful! They answered any questions I had very promptly and really made me feel at ease with the move-in process. Everything went fantastic and my apartment was cleaned up to professional standards. Also if you have fur babies this place is great they have a nice little area to let your pups go to the washroom and leave bags in case you forget yours! And you absolutely can not beat the location you're close to all the main roads and there are tons of options for different places to eat all along McLeod.

I lived at Glenmore Heights with my 94 year-old mother for 2 years. I loved the place. Anne and Abi, the Management Team, were always available, responded quickly to any concerns and were simply amazing. When I had service requests, the tech came quickly to repair the issue. I always felt safe here, this was huge for me because I was living with someone that needed a safety and peaceful place to live. The cleaning was done everyday, even during winter time. The ladies were always friendly and hard-working, I could see them working and leaving our lobby, elevators and halls spotless! I did not have an underground parking; I used the assigned parking outside and my car was never broken-into. I am taking with me beautiful memories from living at Glenmore Heights. I wish Anne and Abi the best, continue being awesome! Thank you so much for doing what you do for the community!

I'm very happy with the management team at Glenmore Heights. They have been prompt to deal with maintenance requests, and have been conscientious about snow and ice removal. That is critical to me, as I am disabled and require a walker to get out of my building and across the outdoor parking lot to my vehicle. Last summer a situation in the neighborhood brought a number of homeless people onto our property, and a town hall meeting with the local police station was organized to keep the residents informed. The issue has since been resolved, and I'm so pleased that peace and order has been restored. I have lived here for 3 years.

The management team and their staff are friendly and welcoming which creates a really great sense of community for the residents who live here. The building is well maintained and the grounds are kept up nicely as well.

I lived at Glenmore Heights for 3 years and absolutely loved my stay there. My unit was recently renovated and despite being located next to a busy road was very quiet. The building itself is well maintained with cleaners constantly ensuring the buildings cleanliness. Although I experienced few issues during my stay, any issues I did have the property managers, Anne and Abi were quick to answer my question or resolve any concern. Would highly recommend this building for anyone looking for a fantastic place to live.

Management is terrible to deal with, and will throw the book at you at every opportunity. Had to destroy our bed and belongings that were infested with bed bugs, and plumbing goes down on an almost weekly basis because of terrible maintenance. Rent is through the roof compared to anything else around and parking is additional on top of that. Absolute worst experience ever, look elsewhere!As an addendum to my review. If you look at all the 5 stars reviews this place has recieved lately, they are all very general reviews, speaking nothing specific about what they find great. The reviewers also have only one review to their name, and it's this place. Management may change, and change often for reasons I listed, and other reviews have as well. But that doesn't mean they have ever fixed any of these issues. So much money has to be put into these buildings to fix the problems that your rent would be astronomical. Do yourself a favor and stay away, it's not worth the hassle.
