BEWARE. The place should be renamed SCAMMER STREET MARKET. The guy at the counter charged me 19 bucks for cigarettes that I didn’t even buy- and I’m not even a smoker! He asked me to pay 62.86 for a couple of breakfast items so I asked for a receipt. He immediately told me he had erroneously charged me for a pack of cigarettes and then handed me back 20 bucks in cash. He also conveniently forgot to pack the bottle of water that I had paid for and did so after I reminded him to. The bottom line is this place is awful - poor service and dishonesty all rolled into one. Being over priced is one thing (for offering a service 24 hours ) but scamming people is not acceptable . Reading the reviews it is evident that this is happening fairly regularly. It doesn’t deserve one star - but the system wouldn’t allow me to leave a review without a star rating. I am attaching the receipt also. I won’t be surprised if my credit card information is stolen also.

Very convenient place with nice staff! Many products are not labelled with prices which is often concerning, and sometimes products are expired. Great place to pick up late-night snacks or forgotten groceries and they usually have everything you'd need.

Expect to pay at least double the normal price here for all items. I paid 15$ for toilet paper that cost $7 at Shoppers or anywhere else, and $11 for ice cream that cost $6. Drano and cat food are also double the price. They also do not put prices on any items in the store and total up your receipt so you don't know how much each item was unless you're buying only one item. Sketchy! I suggest to go two blocks away to Shoppers on Bank and Laurier to get all of the items for normal price - or even Rexall right next door, but they are not open late or on Sunday.

I was in Ottawa for my Visa appointment when i realized i forgot to bring my photo along , it was a public holiday and all the stores were closed. Manaf at this grocery store came to my rescue and was really kind and considerate to click and print passport size picture for me. He was very patient and quick in clicking the right picture, with correct dimensions and specifications. This is an appreciation review and post for him. Thank you so so much once again.

Please lookout out for expiry dates basically everything is expired.I wish I can 0 star it.Staff is always on the phone never greets or reply, there's no price tags and always check out for expiry dates because most of the time stuff are expired.

Everyone complains in the reviews about high prices, however it’s not uncommon to “pay for convenience” if you want deals go to the superstore. This store is always clean, well stocked with a great variety of beverages, snacks, household items, literally everything, and in a rush has what you need. In this part of town, where there are no big stores and everything closes early, I don’t mind paying the prices. If you live nearby and need anything, even to grab some bananas for breakfast, this market has you covered. The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t list their prices on the merchandise and that they sell PC branded items without taking PC rewards or redeeming. Otherwise, very nice small business and I will continue supporting.

Prices are never listed under items, but expect to pay at least 30% more than a grocery store. Unless you’re in a pinch and you live a block away I’d recommend just going to an actual grocer

Very high prices for many items: e.g. $7 for plain yogurt that sells at other places for $4! Nearly nothing is priced (you have to ask at cash). Also, a while ago, I asked the cashier to call 911 for medical help for someone. He refused. Wow. I was shortchanged once and the cashier just shrugged and didn't believe me. Other places nearby are cheaper and with less-sullen staff (How about saying Hi"?) I avoid this place."

Honestly, I find it pretty frustrating that there are hardly any prices on the items in this store - it would be a very easy fix to at least label items in the cooler. It's really expensive and you only find that out when you're at the checkout. A carton of almond milk is $6.99, which seems off the charts considering shopper's drug mart is right down the street and sells the same thing for much less.
