Kai Japanese Restaurant
My hubby and I went for lunch in this Japanese restaurant, the beef tataki is flavourful with the sauce, great appetizers. The nigiri combo is okay, pretty average, it comes with the miso soup. The refresher is very interesting, wrapped the roll by cucumber long slice. It is great if you prefer light flavour roll. The place is clean and well organized.

When it comes down to food, I am very picky but Kai Japanese restaurant always delivers great dinning experience. I love their food from fresh Sashimi to hot foods. Servers are nice and the foods are great! Overall awesome spot to dine in with family and friends.

It’s not quite a 5 but they make oyster motoyaki in my favourite sauce that I missed for years because no where else have it so that’s worth a bonus star.

Second time I come back to this restaurant. Today I order lunch set A, good portion but good a bit salty on black sesame spinach and salad. But overall food is good. Don’t mind to come back.

The service also deserves a commendationWhile Kai only has specials during lunchtime, we were just as satisfied with the combos on the regular menuThe combos are quite filling as the rolls are larger than other sushi restaurants- see photoWe will definitely be back and let all our friends know about this spot

Excellent sushi with great value Bento boxes offered at lunch time only. About $19-$21 per Bento box. So much choice! Great friendly service. Tempura avocado is delicious!

Lovely Japanese restaurant. It has large and open seating area, plenty of space inside. The sushi is fantastic and well prepared, and the oshi sushi was really good, comparable to Miku, but a bit cheaper.The noodles were delicious as well, it was cooked just right, not too oily, like some other Japanese restaurants. The Kai lunch set pack some really good value, with very good verity if food and pretty generous portions. We were pleasantly surprised surprised at the quality and the quantity of the food in the lunch set, so will recommend to everyone.Service was really friendly, and the food came pretty quick, it might be due to the fact that we came in on a not so busy day. A great experience overall, will surely be back again.

Deluxe Sashimi Platter offered great quality fish, loved the amaebi (sweet shrimp) and hamachi. Kai specialty roll was delicious, would recommend! Beef teriyaki was good and included lots of veggies. Total came out to just over $100 with tax for three people.Service was alright - one server was sweet and patient, and the other was a little dismissive towards our table.

Visiting this restaurant was an overall pleasant experience. The staff were all very friendly and provided great service. The food was ordered fast and prepared fast. The presentation of the food and taste were great. Many staff asked to make sure our food tasted good. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was quite relaxing.
