What’s not to love about the HarbourCats and baseball in Victoria. The crowd, the venue, all fun.What the loss of a star is for is the very invasive black netting which makes it very difficult to watch the game. Safety is paramount, I understand, but I will move to general admission in the future. I understand netting behind home plate, but past 1st base? Obstructive and distracts greatly.Further, most seats have a west view and when the sun is low, which all night games have, the sun is right behind the batter which further reduces visibility.This review is for the park and seating, not the HarbourCats which are awesome.

Went for my first HarborCats game. They did not disappoint. And the fireworks after the game were great!

It was super busy from the time the gate opened to when the gate closed, but the people there were always generous and helpful. My son and I had so much fun there with my friends!

The statium is way past it's time but it is central to downtown and has great sight lines except for the very far end Harbourcats makenit a home and a fun place to be. Parking is a bit of an issue.

It's a good ball park. Clean, and lively. Lots of parking. Reasonable security. Lots of food options. Reasonably priced. Since I wrote the first part quite a while ago, Victoria council has decided to dedicate part of the parking lot to housing. While I never heard of an issue the other night, it does add another dimension to parking next to the park - fewer parking stalls and make sure there is nothing valuable or tempting in your vehicle.

Really enjoyed the ballpark, nice comfortable reserved seats (general admission seats are aluminum bleachers as is most parks). Almost all the Canadian fans were nice and friendly to chat with even though we were the visiting team. Staff were extremely welcoming and food choices were fine: fish&chips, burgers, dogs, ice cream, pizza and snacks of all kinds. Great atmosphere for a baseball game!

The seats were well situated (grandstand) but not very comfortable. I suggest bringing a cushion or stadium pal seat with you. The staff are awesome, and I cannot stress this enough. The servers, concession, event staff, and security were all amazing.
