I have never actually been to the store in person unfortunately. They do however have a great selection of yarns and have taken great care in making sure their website is easy to use. I greatly appreciate the time and energy put into keeping their online shop update with the current inventory numbers and having their full selection of yarns online ( many wool stores only offer a limited selection online) They also have a great selection of gifts for the knitter in your life! Shipping is fast and my order even arrived sooner than estimated!

I'm so grateful to have this lovely little shop in my neighbourhood. Whether I am shopping in person, online or popping in to pick up an order, I've always had a pleasant experience. Staff are kind and helpful without ever being pushy. The selection of products is not huge, but is incredibly well-curated with plenty of beautiful high quality yarns and supplies available. And as a bonus, sometimes you'll be lucky enough to catch the owner and her lovely little bird when you pop into the store, which certainly always brightens my day.

It was a good experience! I learned a few things I didn't know. I would suggest for a lesson, a 'LIGHT' be placed on the table, as it's hard to see when knitting & reading the instructions. Larger print would be helpful too. A positive experience!! Thank you Haley for your patience!!

Just thought I’d check in on reviews in case I ever want to visit this business again. I need to amplify some customers’ experiences: the stock is fine, but staff doesn’t seem to want customers. I’ve tried several times; don’t want to get into it. Maybe the staff is helpful if they know you; I suppose that word of mouth via a tightly curated community is a sustainable way to build clientele.I urge staff/management NOT to contact me as I have seen you do to others. “I’m sorry that you misunderstood my intention” is low-level gaslighting. If your current way of doing things is working for you, you’re doing fine.

It is always a pleasure to visit Knit-O-Matic. There is a great collection of yarns and accessories and the owner/proprietor is very helpful. One of the last knitting shops in the city. Check it out!

Just getting back into knitting/crocheting and I'm so happy to have found knit-o-matic! The store has such a welcoming/comforting atmosphere, the people are so helpful, and they have a great selection of yarns, hooks, and needles. So grateful to have such a lovely spot in my neighbourhood
