CIBC Branch with ATM

We tried opening an account for my son, we choose this location, Gordon Rd thinking it's a very convenient location. We started the application online, an option they have, then moving forward with the application it says we have to go to the branch to issue the card. We went to this branch, checked our IDs. Then she told us to continue the application at home, she can't give us the card, we should call online banking. We tried calling online banking, wait was a bit too long, decided to hang up and tried to continue our application online. And now the system is asking us to go back to the CIBC Branch... is there any easier way to open an account for youth???

I had the most annoying encounter with one of the tellers at this location named Mossammat.I stated twice what I was requesting and assumed she understood because she proceeded with next steps.A few minutes later, I noticed that she had made a mistake with the increments I was requesting, so informed her of this, to which she let out a huge, annoyed sigh then proceeded to say in the snarkiest tone OK whatever!"The fact that her whole demeanor changed when I corrected her of a simple error spoke volumes of her character.I went to CIBC for some quick service

I HAVE BEEN USING CIBC FOR 7 YEARS…LAST FRIDAY I WENT THERE TO GET MY STATEMENT THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL CHARGE $5 TO PRINT ONE PAGE STATEMENT AND TO STAMPED IT , IS THIS REASONABLE…MOREOVER I WENT ON TODAY(MONDAY) THERE TO PRINT MY PORTFOLIO STATEMENT AND THE LADY TOLD ME THERE I DONT KNOW HOW TO PRINT THE STATEMENT …THERE WAS 3 AT THE COUNTER AND NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO PRINT THE STATEMENT..SO I WILL ASK THEM WHO KNOWS TO PRINT …ME ……SO AT LAST POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE..I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO CHOOSE CIBC AS THEIR BANK …..

Staff are nice. Plenty of parking outside.No washroom for customer.

Had to book a month in advance for an appointment. I then got three calls to confirm I was coming over that 4 weeks and on the day of the appointment the lady had to cancel said she was”sick” they made it very difficult to cash in my rrsps. Also they never answer the phone and when you leave a message it’s 3 or 4 days before they get back to you. Do not deal with these guys I pretty much had to beg to take my own money out and when I did they were still trying to talk me out of it.I was getting 1% interest on my money but they had it lent out at 12% that’s why they wouldn’t let me take it out. Crooks

The bank looks nice and has a good parking lot dedicated to itself. There's also a drive-thru option, but that feels weird to me, so I haven't used it. Service seems fine, I've never had any issues here.

I had great experience with Harsh for opening my bank account

The slowest, most painful tellers I’ve ever witnessed. Come in for something quick and I’m stuck in like for over 20 minutes when it’s only 3 people in line. What. A. Joke.

Management usually is helpful, however it shouldn’t take having to get a manager to help you with Something a typical counter clerk can easily do. Not to mention there hours are TERRIBLE! How is a working class citizen from out of town supposed to be in the city by 5pm when I usually work 10-12 hours/day, 6 days a week and usually work until atleast 6pm. Alberta, BC, Ontario and even Winnipeg locations are open until 7pm on Thursday and Fridays. And in Ontario open Regina’s regular hours on a Sunday! Needs more branches in rural Saskatchewan or open city branches later! Not everyone has a 9-5 job or lives in the worst city in Canada!!!

I will never ever go to this branch. Just dealt with one of the most incompetent CSR. It took her 45 minutes to print out a single piece of paper. You have a little argument with these people and then they try to frustrate you more and would come up with all possible arguments just to beat you down so that they can go home with their chin-ups.
