Seraphic Massage Therapy

The facilities are very clean and well maintained. To be transparent the staff who run the desk are usually pretty unwelcoming/unwilling to help, but I'm not there to see them so I try not to let that bother me. My usual RMT left so I decided to book with whoever was available, which was definitely my fault. I booked with Jaclyn, who has a more gentle approach then I'm used to. That being said, she massages like she's scared to use her hands. I have seen many different RMTs and usually am asleep on the table within 20 minutes. I was literally counting down when this would be over. There were times she would just place her hand on me and it would be doing nothing, or she would use a single finger to rub a tiny spot. There was little to no pressure applied the entire time. Her technique would be perfect for a day spa where people want to relax, but when you are going somewhere for a medical purpose, the technique makes no sense. It felt at times she was just killing time. It was similar to a friend offering you a half-hearted back rub because you hurt yourself. I would have said something to the reception staff but they are uninterested in how your treatment is, so I just left. Even though this is a convenient spot for me to get to, I'll be looking for a new place to go in the future.

What at first could seem like a large impersonal business led me to an amazing therapist, Angela C. I'm quite used to - sadly - telling RMTs what my issue is, and they work on it a little and move on to other areas (which is still nice but certainly effective for pain management). Angela actually focused on the area, really focused on it, and not only did I leave with less concern, I was fine for weeks afterwards. Highly recommend.

Shannon is my girl! I’ve been going to her for the past few years and she gives the best deep tissue massages. She listens attentively to your concerns and helps work out all the kinks in your muscles. I had so much pain from one of my pregnancies but she made me feel like superwoman after every massage.

Really loved my massage here. The location is cozy and clean and the staff were very welcoming. One the better massages I've had!

Great service and staff! I'm in dentistry and I'm an active swimmer and often in the gym and Shannon was able to hear me out and tend to my needs, especially in my upper body! Along with being professional, she's also friendly and lovely to chat with. Would recommend to family and friends!

I've been here twice and had a positive experience both times. Great little spot tucked away on the corner. I got a 90min deep tissue massage last time and left floating home.

Wow— just finished a 1.45 hr massage with Michael. I came in on a day where I woke up stiff as a board: back pain and really bad shoulder pain. I subluxed my shoulder about a month ago. Michael found all the spots and was able to work them out with both pressure but also somehow being gentle? He was able to intuitively find all the spots that needed to be worked on and how it was best to do it.The massage place is super clean, new and the staff are great too. I was late for my appointment and they were able to give me extra time, which was really awesome. Highly recommend this place!

My first visit here (first massage ever) is splendid. I mentioned in the form before coming here that I need some help with my sleep and Shannon gave me great stretching tips and what to do to help me fall asleep better. She highlighted areas on my body that needed more work. Great first experience and I got free bath salts.However the place can be tiny for some (I am short so doesn't bother me) and if you got the downstairs room, you might hear people walking about upstairs.Shannon was great but I wasn't given option to tip her during payment, not sure if I could

Just had my first massage after walking by this spot a hundred times. I'm so glad I visited and will definitely be back! The vibe is comfortable and.homey, their grey walls and bright windows make this a relaxing atmosphere. I was treated by Sofie and she was very skilled, excellent strength and I felt so at ease and taken care of. Front desk staff are very kind and thoughtful. The only thing I would change is their waiting area which felt a tiny bit busy/cramped/chaotic. Also their entrance is stairs so not fully accessible.
