Barangas On The Beach
My wife surprised me with a birthday dinner here. It was actually on my bucket list of restaurants to try. So I was very excited to see what they have to offer. We knew in advance because I did my research. This restaurant is always busy so don’t be surprised if there’s a wait time. I request a table closet to the beach in their patio. They told us a 45 minute wait so we didn’t mind. 5 minutes passed and I received a text saying our table was ready! Sat down and the view was better than the norm. Our server was amazing. Cracked some jokes and made the experience much better. The kalamari was good. A little salty on some parts but overall delicious. Out of the hummus, tzatziki and red pepper dip. The red pepper dip was the best. A lot of flavour. My wife liked everything from her Chicken souvlaki, expect that her rice tasted under cooked. I ordered the Grilled Lamb Chops and it tasted really good. I love the seasoning on the lamb. My only complaint from my dish would be that the potatoes were cooked under and was hard. The cake tasted so good and warm! Overall I had a great experience.

Love that it right off the boardwalk. I'm all about the ambience and this restaurant provides. Love the chandeliers inside and live the patio outside complete with fresh flowers in pots that makes you feel like you are in a beach town. Love the lighting on the patios as well. Our server was attentive and the food portions were decent.

Went for my birthday dinner in late May, food was really amazing. Server was funny & quick. However they charged $14 for birthday slice of cake which is usually complimentary but nonetheless the view is beautiful & the food is very authentic. Be prepared to spend when you go :))

We had a fantastic time on their patio facing the lake. Kevin was very attentive and gave excellent suggestions. They were able to make us a spicy mango margarita which was perfect. The midnight in Mykonos cocktail is also very good. We ordered a few apps like Saganaki (grilled cheese with vodka and lemon - with a small flambe show), the med dip tray, and calamari. All 3 were very good. We didn't try the mains since we had dinner reservations elsewhere, but we'll be back for more soon!

I absolutely loved the scenery, vibes, and customer service here! In terms of food the spanakopita was absolutely delicious but everything else I’d say was more so average. Overall a fun place to visit in the Hamilton area.

It was a beautiful day and I'd never been to this restaurant before. Let me add it was super busy and I was doubtful that we would get a seating on the patio outside by the water. The hostess was extremely cheerful and when I made a joke about getting a table outside, she was really understanding and added that if we weren't in a rush we could sit at the bar for a drink while we waited for the table outside. We weren't in a hurry so we sat at the bar for a few drinks. The hostess initially said it might be 30-45m but after 20m we got the SMS that our table was ready. Our server was EXCELLENT!! Never rushed us, never had a problem answering multiple questions (God knows my wife & daughter had them) and was diligent in topping up our water or anything else we asked for. Food was really really really good. Did I say the food was good? We had the delicious Saganaki for an app. My daughter and I each had the roasted leg of lamb. I can't describe how good the lamb was or the sauce mix of eggplant and potatoes it was lying in. My wife had lamb chops with roasted potatoes and a delicious beet salad. Her dish was absolutely delicious as well. We were so full we skipped dessert but the options were as delicious sounding as the mains. Overall, a great place to go with a couple or a large party. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. I highly recommend.

This is my second time visiting this restaurant and it was well worth the trip. Every dish in the photos were excellent. The patio view of the beach is always full so go early or expect 45min-1hr waiting period during dinner service. Customer service is good, all staff are there to provide support, answer questions, and provide their opinion regarding best menu choice. The best part of this entire experience was the price point. We were 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and food portions were big! Appetizers were share amongst us and we spent a total of $200 for all dishes which included 2 lattes. If you have 2 small children, order the chefs burger" and split it into two because it's filling for just one person.Enjoy!"

5 stars for their ambience and beach side patio. Food is also amazing. I would suggest red pepper hummus, lamp chops, Saganaki as must try dishes. On weekends you might need reservation if want to enjoy beach patio. Pricing is on above average, but worth paying.
