Alyson was our mortgage broker for our most recent purchase. It doesn’t take long to realize why Alyson is one of the best in the business; she knows what she is doing! She is very professional and deals with a high level of integrity. Buying a house is a major event in a person’s life and she takes all the stress out of it. We were completely confident that she had our best interests at heart and would go out of her way to take care of us. Not only did Alyson get us a phenomenal rate but the process was very fast and she explained everything along the way. My husband and I had a lot of fun getting our mortgage with Alyson Thiessen. When can anyone say getting a mortgage is/was fun? At first when we were refused from our bank of 20+ years to purchase a rental property it wasn't fun; but the we met Alyson. Never did we feel out of the loop as to what was going on with our mortgage, what was expected from us and even with a time sensitive approval needed; Alyson pulled through for us! This was my first experience with a mortgage broker and my husbands third. We were both absolutely disgusted at our treatment here. Alyson makes you feel stupid for asking questions and was extremely unprofessional. She was outright rude one second and passive aggressive and patronizing the next. Her work also held up possession of our home. Stay far far away.
