Great to work with and they helped answer all my questions about different types of systems. Once we finalized the system had to be ordered and it was here and installed quickly. I had follow up questions after the system was installed and owner Paul helped me understand some of my water issues and ways to combat them without trying to sell anything further, just let me know he had solutions if I needed them. Lots of respect for this company and the people behind it. Hard to find honest and straight forward these days! 10/10 recommend! They were competitive as well!

I called numerous places about installing a new water softer. Most did not advertise what their prices were online and forced an “in home visit” which in my opinion would corner you into a sale. I called Dakota and talked about what I was looking for and I can honestly say that over the phone I felt comfortable with them coming to my home and installing a new softener. They were up front and honest and installed exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price. Support small business.

Reasonably priced water softener. The installer (owner of company) showed up on time, was nice to talk to while he did the installation and provided answers to all my questions. The installation passed the city inspection. Would definitely recommend.

Dakota Water Treatment offered incredible customer service. We discovered our original water softener's timer gears had worn out, resulting in the softener never being run. We had not dealt with any type of water softener issue in our home ownership before, so I was pretty nervous and worried about being taken advantage of by a water company.We called Dakota Water Treatment as they were local to us. Jolene answered the phone and was genuinely one of the nicest people I have talked to from any company. She took the time to troubleshoot the issue over the phone with me to ensure it couldn't be repaired with a part or minor fix. Once we concluded we did in fact need a new softener, she put me though a crash course over the phone and educated me on all things water softeners so that I could make an educated decision. She was completely zero pressure and was genuinely interested in helping us. Talking with Jolene was an absolute pleasure and the main reason we decided to give Dakota Water Treatment our business.Once we decided which unit to buy, Jolene set up an appointment for a technician to come out and install the unit. There were appointments available the next day. Within 48 hours of discovering the problem, Dakota Water Treatment had us back up and running with soft water and no headaches. The whole process of working with them was very smooth and low pressure. I had Dakota Water Treatment install a water softener in our home last month. I was impressed with their price and level of service.When Jolene answered, she blew me away by her knowledge of water softeners. She spent at least a half hour talking to me about softener valves and softeners in general. She was 100% correct with all of her knowledge and I was able to confirm everything through research. Not only that, but she was not at all inconvenienced by all of my questions. She definitely steered me towards the correct product for me and my home and had a great attitude the entire time.Paul did an amazing job with the install and was also very friendly. The install was quick and painless and he cleaned up after himself. He gave me information on maintenance and even some suggestions on other products in my home. He was also fun to make small talk with.I am confident in not only the product and install, but the fact that I was able to support a family business with great service! Dakota Water Treatment is a great company to work with for a new water softener. They are extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly explain everything. Their pricing is competitive and they use quality product. The installation was quick and they were prompt with all their services. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I have been putting off installing a water treatment system and we finally decided this year we would do it. I found Dakota Water on google and we love supporting local businesses as we have our own business. From the very start I could not have been more impressed. The woman I spoke to on the phone could not have been nicer and she was SO knowledgeable. She was able to have the installation done THE SAME DAY that I called! The two men that installed the system were so nice, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our water has been great since install and we wish we did this sooner. We can drink directly from our faucet! I would 100000% recommend this company if you need a new water softener/water treatment for your home.

My experienced started with a phone message left to Dakota Water on a Saturday. I had the expectation of a return call on Monday but I was pleasantly surprised with a call back that day. A really well designed web site with all the options and prices clearly posted.In my phone conversation I was asked questions that would help me decide which system was best for our home. I not only wanted a new water softener, we were interested in better drinking water. We opted for a whole home filtration system along with a new water softener.The scheduling was easy and the install started on time. I was nervous about bringing all of the equipment through the house as we have hardwood floors on our main level leading to our basement. Dakota Water could not have taken better care when bringing everything into our home.The job was done on time, one budget and we could not be happier with the professional service we received from Dakota Water. I have one regret, we should have done the whole house filter a long time ago our coffee and drinking water taste so much better it is like night and day. No more bottled water for us...Great job Dakota Water...Do yourself a favor and give these folks a call we are very particular who we trust in our home and we would use Dakota Water again without question.

I had a Kenmore water softener that started having issues only about five years in. I limped it along for about eight years and did my research to find that the Kenmore valves are very problematic. I found two valves that were very clearly above the rest and started calling around to find someone to sell me one of these softeners. Jolene answered my call and was extremely knowledgable. I setup an appointment and Paul came over only a day or two later. I found him to be very kind and he did a great job installing the softener without making a mess.If you are reading this review - save yourself time and money. Do not buy from the big box stores and replace your purchase a few years later. Look at the products that Paul and Jolene offer and you will be glad that you paid a little extra for a solid product with a proven track record.Thanks again!
