On time, efficient, courteous, and handled my belongings with care. However, I was charged more than I was quoted; 3 guys showed up instead of 2 (which did make the move faster), 30 mins added for travel time and a surprise charge for a piece of heavy equipment (that I clearly mentioned when booking the appointment). Still a fair price, but would have appreciated more clarity when booking.

Scott, Chris, and Jeff moved my belongings on the hottest day of the summer, Aug 2021; that NL has had. They came to my apartment, walked through to see what they had to move and just went right to it! They were very professional, made jokes, and lifted the heaviest boxes making them look light!! They made sure to organize their tuck so I could get it all in one load. They delivered it to my new house and didn't make a scratch or dent! Everything went where I asked for it to go. They even put back together the bed and dining room table! It was a great stress relief to have such professional men come and do something I thought was going to be a full day -- in three hours! I will recommend this company and those movers to everyone. I cannot say enough good things about them! Thank you to the men!!

Just had these folks move my apartment into my new home today and they were super fast, 2 1/2 hours start to finish. They were very friendly and made good conversation with us. Everything arrived undamaged and they made sure to lay down padding on the floors as well as our railing to protect our new home.

I will NEVER use Big Bear Movers again, and I would definitely NOT recommend them to anyone! They charged me DOUBLE what I was quoted. I was so exhausted at the time that I never had the energy to dispute it. Secondly, they lost a very important piece of equipment belong to me. It took me a month of calling and bugging them about this before it was finally replaced. During that time, no one EVER called me back when I left messages. I felt they hoped I would go away. My lesson? Always get a quote in writing and never trust this movie no company!

Big Boy and Bear same thing same owner. Scammers galore. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. They tried to make a new name for themselves due to their antics, other company deflects this one is just to far gone review wise for them to recover from.Look elsewhere for quality.

A terrible experience. Was quoted 120 an hour. Then came back with xtra charges for my treadmill. Which they said was heavy..they had it taken apart in pieces..still in my basement in pieces.. also said my fireplace was too heavy so Xtra for that. Said they started at 830...my place was a 25 minute drive.. I was charged for drive time..they didn't get there til 9:30. Finished up at 4 pm..I was charged 1250...I had the truck. Had all the items boxed up....they took constant cigarette breaks also..three guys there.. one did very little ...they just loaded in my brother's vehicle and a 29 foot UHaul. I have requested my receipts twice now and cannot get them..I would not recommend them to anyone

Absolutely terrible experience. The people were nice I will give them that, but overall not worth the money. They charged us $780 for two truck loads & also left to get gas"

Everything was great until they intentionally took the wrong route to my new place and was gone for 25 mins when it's only a 8 min drive. They apologized for it when I called them asking them where they were because we both left at the same time. I knew something was up because they agreed to follow me but left first. When it came time to start putting my furniture legs on which they agreed to do in the beginning they said my 2 hours were up even though they took off for 25 mins. Wouldn't recommend them. Also charged tax with no receipt.

Incredibly poor communication and not at all professional. I don’t recommend them if you want professionals who will show up and keep their word. They do not show up on time or answer their calls.We had booked them for a time and they called a half hour after they were supposed to be at our place saying they had problems with one truck and would be an extra hour. This was fine but they didn’t answer calls or show up all day. They called around 6 PM and said they’d be by the next morning for sure and apologized. Things happen so we were understanding again. However, they were late again and an hour after the move was scheduled asked could they come the following morning because one of their movers was off unexpectedly.They never even called or showed up the following day and again wouldn’t answer calls. We didn’t expect much at that point and found someone else. If we didn’t plan lots of time for moving we would have had a huge problem. I recommend avoiding if you want professionalism.

Hired them for my daughter who was moving from one apartment to another. Movers did not show up! They called to say they would be 30 mins late then stopped answering the phone. Don't waste your time calling these guys.
