My Mink Lashes Training Academy

Came in to get a hybrid set done by Lana today, had some lashes on from a previous lash tech, she fixed my lashes with the help of some other very nice girls. Lana gave me very beautiful lashes!! We sadly did not have enough time to finish my full but the lashes I walked out with I am more than happy about :) She was very gentle, made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. All the ladies in there were very sweet and just overall great vibes ! will definitely be continuing to come back:) thanks again for the great experience!!

Got my lashes done and they started to fall out the next day. It's been day 3 and i brushed them and a bunch fell out in the sink, half of them are gone. I'm going on a trip now, I'm sure they will all fall out while I'm there. The glue must not be vary good. They were placed so beautifully though. I never washed my face or anything so idk what happened. Not worth it tbh.

I just completed the Classic and Hybrid Lash Extension course taught by Tonya at My Mink Lashes Training Academy. All I can say is wow!! I loved every minute of this 2 day course! Tonya is such a kind instructor, very knowledgeable, and teaches you an amazing technique for proper lash placement. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to start their lash journey!

Tonya is the friendliest trainer ever! She is super helpful and informative and makes you feel comfortable doing something you've never done before. I really appreciate how quickly she communicates over text as well! I will be going back for more certifications in the future.

The WORST educator you can get. I was gonna take Tonya’s Lash extensions course and pay $1700 with an additional $300 for the kit. 6 hours for the first day and 3 hours for the second day classes. I was desperate to learn so I gave her my deposit of $400. A few days later I was starting to realize that the price was too much and that I was getting ripped off. I knew it was already too late for me to get the deposit back, so I decided to take the brow lamination course or the lash lift and tint course but she was telling me that she couldn’t teach me neither of the 2 courses at all because I needed to have “aesthetic background”. Which she only take students who are already doing “hair, nails or permanent make up”. Couple minutes later she then told me that she can certify me for brow lamination because the deposit I gave her was nonrefundable, so might as well take it. As of yesterday, it was the day of my training, but her place was hidden and there was lots of construction and thats why I was late. But she didn't understand that. She went straight up to me and said “I cannot teach you and certify you under 40 mins.” Like If you can’t certify me in under 40 min then why is your class 1.5 hour only? I even asked her if I could come another day but she said “no you wasted my time and disrespected me twice already, social media is big”. I get that you have a business to run but that’s not how you should treat anyone and it doesn’t give you any right to do so. So, I don’t recommend anyone taking ANY classes from her because YOU are only getting ripped off.

Got my first lash extensions ever here and the lash tech was great with listening to what I wanted and gave me a beautiful set exactly how I wanted. The salon is pretty nice and relaxing too with complimentary blankets etc. Wish they had more curls like L curl and M curl but best place to get your lashes done here for the first time!

I did the classic and volume training with Tonya and it was such a positive experience. The space was wonderful and Tonya was so helpful and made me feel so comfortable. If you are considering getting your certification, definitely go to my mink lashes training academy.

It is because of Tonya’s expertise and longevity in the field I chose her to train me to do lash extensions. Not only is she an amazing teacher but also will not leave your side after you train with her. She always responds and is happy to help whenever I have a question and goes out of her way to offer support. I am so excited to train with her in the future because I am confident that her mentor skills will assist me in becoming a talented lash tech. I just finished a two day training class for Classic and Volume lashes. Tonya is such a sweetheart and does and amazing job at making sure everyone is comfortable before moving on to the next step. Learning a new skill can be daunting but it was such a pleasant experience that the last two days flew by.I highly recommend taking her classes! I’m excited to start my lash artistry journey.
