Beautiful hotel. Wonderful, courteous staff (front desk, cleaning, security). Modern and sleek. I love the style. Great breakfast buffet in the morning. 100% would recommend.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. I stayed here overnight due to an Air Canada cancellation and the hotel was very clean and modern. The most important thing was that I forgot something of big sentimental value at the hotel. I called the hotel and they were able to find it the same day. They sent it out to me the next day via FedEx. I received my lost item the day after. From the beginning to the end this hotel is nothing short of amazing. From the management to the front desk to the housekeeping - purely professional. Thank you so much for your help and I will definitely stay at your hotel next time I am in Montreal.Merci Beaucoup!!

Overall I was really impressed by this Hyatt Place. Having stayed at a lot of HP locations, this may be the best one of these I have seen. If you want something in this hotel/price range, I would recommend it easily. I would also be happy to stay here again in the future as well!

We had been staying at this property for over 20 years when it was the Gouverneur. Toward the end of this time, it was falling into neglect and showing it's age. I am happy to report that it has been fully renovated, with all new soft and hard goods. New bathrooms, doors, etc... it's like brand new. They remodeled the public areas as well. Great breakfast buffet is included. Staff were excellent. If you are looking for a hotel in the Village"

Beautiful newly renovated room. One the best views of Montreal from our room on the 21st floor! Highly recommend! A massive bonus unique to nearly all other hotels in Montreal is the complimentary breakfast buffet than runs until 11am. This isn’t just free cereal and coffee, it’s a full buffet! So many amazing restaurants in Montreal, save the money on breakfast and go all out for lunch and dinner!

Overall, the hotel was a good stay. The room was a bit dirty (the rug had some stains and the shower tile near the shower door was peeling). The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We couldn’t hear other guests. House keeping came daily and kept up the room. The breakfast was pretty good. A large assortment buffet every morning and was served the full hours listed. The area is close to many things downtown, however one complaint is that there are lots of sketchy people hanging around outside the hotel.

We had a terrible experience. There was some sort of hockey tournament booked for the same weekend. We got no notification and it was very loud. We could not use the pool or sauna as children were in and out. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. We were charged 23$ a day for parking even after paying almost 300$/night to stay there. (And the parking bill came as a surprise email after we got home!!!) The staff was unsympathetic of the fact that the stay was less then desirable. I would highly recommend you find a nice boutique hotel in Montreal. This was all round bad. Do not recommend.

The best hotel I’ve stayed in in Montreal - even over more expensive and more “luxe” options. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean*. The staff were very friendly and always helpful when we needed their assistance. We loved using the pool and sauna. We didn’t know about the breakfast bar until we checked in, but I’m glad we checked it out! It was a good full breakfast with anything you would want (hot and cold options, juices, coffee). We got a great sleep and really enjoyed the views from the 23rd floor. The Location was key as well - underground access to Berri-UQAM station and a short walk to the gay village and lots of other key destinations in the city. We will be booking here again when we come back!

I had a very rude check in experience with Hannah. I was suppose to stay 3 nights but after the experience I cut my stay short to 1 night. Was glad to leave. Even the two front desk agents who worked on the side of her were shocked at how rude she was and offered to help. The manager was almost non existent. Just sat in the back and never made an appearance. Hyatt needs to make a clean sweep here. The rooms are very nicely appointed, but noisy. You can hear people walking above you. Evidently the renovation ripped out a lot of the sound proofing between the floors and rooms.I remember really enjoying staying at the former Hotel Gouverneur. It is too bad they sold out.

Spent a night here and was surprised at how nice the property and staff were. When we first arrived our TV wasn’t working, after a call staff quickly came and fixed it for us. It’s a brand new Hyatt property and it shows. Pool and gym were nice and new as expected. The breakfast had a good variety and staff were very welcoming and always bringing more food. The location is perfect, the hotel is connected to Place Dupuis and Berri-UQAM station. Everything is at a walking distance. The only thing is the parking. The ceiling is very low so make sure your car fits, but that’s typical for Montreal. Overall one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in while. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
