What I appreciate the most about this retirement home is the level of care and support that is provided. The staff members take the time to get to know each resident personally, and they are always available to address any needs.

Since ownership change, place has gone downhill-very high turnover of staff including nurses. They don’t know the residents or routine. Too bad it was an amazing home.

Great home, the managing director really seems to care about the residents.

No physicians, No dentists, No contract with Lifelabs, PSWs doing medications.Underqualified & incompetent manager, a PSW running this place with no managerial experience or nursing degree. Threatens staff daily to cut hours, send them home and to write them up. Enjoys gossiping about her staff.Majority of the staff are unregulated workers with no experience or schooling, kitchen chef is a UCP with no dietry training. Facility has Live-in Ukrainian staff with no skills and no english, they use google translate to communicate with staff and residents. Staff has no First Aid & CPR training!This place is not a safe place for residents.

I am so happy and pleased that l decided to put my home at Trillium Care, the Director Julie called and arranged a room for my 87 year old mother we were invited to see the home, meet the staff and residents. We had lunch after my mom picked her room and she was very happy to live at Trillium. It’s so calming to go visit my mother whenever and what time l have available and l go visit my mom 5 to 6 times a week and each time l go the staff is so welcoming and warm, but it melts my heart to see my mom so happy and at home. I know as her Dementia/Alzheimer’s is worsened l made the right choice at Trillium Care. The nurses Angela and Alissa always take my calls if my mom is not well , and call to give me an update. I love that they are so busy but remember and call me and that’s such a peace of mind. They always administrate mom’s medications and they give hugs and cuddles too. Remember l am there often at random times to see my mom. So l see how expectional Julie, her nurses, PSW’s, assistants, the cooking team and cleaners are. They make Trillium and the activities, walks and one on one care is what’s so important and situations change daily, Julie and her staff meet their care needs. If it’s bringing a cup of coffee, holding her hand and letting mom cry and then hugging her, or just watching pictures, television, honestly l am so pleased with how Trillium is caring for my mom and l love the new upgrades and security protocols they have implemented to make each resident safe. God bless Julie and her staff for always being there and handling small and big situations and always doing what’s best for each resident. I have no regrets or doubts my decision was well made.
