Probably one of the most fun hair care experiences I've had. Such an INCREDIBLY beautiful salon, and Samantha's kooky and caring energy made me feel super welcome and at ease. Samantha really took the time to make sure I walked out feeling happy and beautiful after my hair henna disaster--and that I did! I love my hair so much! And the products I went home with are super epic, my hair feels so nourished. Thank you for creating such a gorgeous and joyful space! I had such a lovely experience. Much gratitude. I totally recommend<3

Samantha is that rare and special individual who deeply cares about her clients and in addition is a true artist when it comes to hair. Her salon is beyond beautiful! Its sophisticated, raw, sleek beauty makes the experience all the more special. I had been coloring my hair on my own the last 10 months due to Covid and I needed a major hair color correction and a good cut. Samantha brought my hair back to life. I love it! I'm excited about the plans she has to make it even healthier and more natural looking. She's innovative , creative, warm and charismatic. And to top it all off, her products smell amazing!

The owner Sam is a skilled and communicative colourist. She did EXACTLY what I asked for. Darker balayage to cover highlights, root coverage, and a money piece to frame my face. On top of that, her studio is utterly gorgeous, sustainable, and free of harmful products for both yourself and the environment. I love the toxin free Italian Davide hair care products the salon offers. If you're on or visiting Salt Spring Island, she is the hair care professional to book with!

I had the privilege of spending some time in Samantha's Hemp House last week. She truly listened to what I had in mind for a style and her feedback was thoughtful and her knowledge was vast! She took care to consider my daily routine and made sure I would be happy and confident with my new styled hair every day from there on out! I felt spoiled and taken care of. The space she has built is incredibly beautiful and it really has its own amazing vibe!

I had an incredible experience at Hemp House Salon. Samantha went out of her way not only to fit me into her packed schedule during Covid-19, but gave me some expert guidance on colouring with growing out greys as a brunette. Samantha is so warm and charming and has an incredible knack for communication, and also when to give time to rest and enjoy the beautiful space she has created! That said, I'd go just for the head massage :) Salt Spring is lucky to have you!

Samantha is such an amazing stylist and I’m so glad that I was able to book her for my wedding hair. Although I live out of province Samantha was able to travel to my wedding location, do a trial and did an awesome job on my wedding day. I felt well taken care of and everything turned out beautifully. She is well worth the travel fee if you have the opportunity to book with her!
