Curry is unique in his vision!

Curry designed and built the original house in 1988 with an eye toward maximizing the spectacular view as well as the solar gain in winter. The low winter sun warms the house while the summer sun is above the facade. In 2005, we decided to renovate and enlarge the house to double its size. We interviewed several architects, but when we met Curry, we knew it was a match. He pulled out the original plans and began to draw and then he did what few others do. He listened to us. As the design took shape, we were able to view it in 3-D and take virtual tours at every step. The finished product is the house we call home.Curry Rinzler is simply the best. We recommend him wholeheartedly and unreservedly.

Curry has been our architect on numerous projects, most recently designing a medical facility. Curry listens and takes time to understand the needs of the client. He has a great aesthetic sense. He is environmentally conscious and considers energy efficiency and maximizes natural light. He is a lovely guy who is easy to get along with. He coordinated the entire project, communicating well with the builder, electricians, plumbers, as well as the owners. I recommend him without reservation.

Curry worked with us to design a wonderful guest cottage to be fitted onto an existing barn- the photos of the addition are on Curry's website. It was very easy to work with Curry and I was particularly impressed with his ability to listen carefully to the client's needs and wants. I would certainly recommend Curry to others looking for such services in the Woodstock area.

Curry first did a renovation job on our small cape cod house and maximized our living space by opening up walls and incorporating our former enclosed porch. His creative eye, experienced architectural and building skills, while staying within our budget over 20 years ago, brought us back to him this year to explore some new ideas for renovating our kitchen and upstairs. Curry provided design ideas that made total sense for the style of our house. We just completed the kitchen - our goal was to use the same small footprint but rethink the use of the space while sparing our cabinets. It was a pleasure working with Curry again and coming up with unique options - the end result was the perfect use of the space. We can’t wait to work with him again!

Our home was Curry's first passive solar home, built in 1976. Pictures are on his website. Since building this home for us, he has designed additions & renovations for us as well. Curry' has the ability to hear his clients dreams & goals & turn them into reality, within budget. Working with Curry is a delight!

Curry was very helpful and used his expertise to design a lovely addition to our home that is now our dining room where we spend all our time enjoying the large windows that he recommended. His experience in design and building amidst the beauty of the region are invaluable.
