Ordered Lobster. Owner took us in his truck to the other side of the town. We pulled a box of lobsters out of the bay from a pier and chose which ones to eat that night. Super friendly people, as were all of the Newfoundland people that we met. It looks like most of the poor reviews are actually a review of mosquito's. We went there in June and never saw any bugs. Lots of icebergs though.

Very clean and well equipped cabins. We stayed three nights in late August 2013 and had dinner one night at the restaurant across the street (same owner). Ted was a wonderful host (and a pretty good chef also). If you are looking for a great place to stay while you visit the St-Anthony area, I would highly recommend this one.

We rented the 3 bedroom house. It was furnished & decorated beautifully, as well as being very tidy & clean. The beds were very comfortable & got a great night's sleep every night. Also, Ted, the owner, was always available whenever we called & was extremely accommodating. We will definitely be back again!

The single bedroom cabins are nice. Furnished well for the size. Unfortunately, the one I had rented had electrical issues (being looked into). Honestly, I think they are a little overpriced. Likely because they are close to L'anse aux Meadows. Directions on where to check in are not very clear.

accidentally took bunch of pictures of the northern light outside the cabin window. we were so happy when we realized that was aurora when people start talking about it in the wale watching boat. I recommend Ted's lobster, sea food chowder and the moose burger. we asked Ted where did he kept his lobsters, he told us he keeps them in the sea. and then invited us to his dock picked out lobsters from the lobster trap. that was so much fun. and he is a amazing chef too! 5 stars!

We didn’t get to stay, booked a wc cabin and called a couple weeks before to confirm our stay, when we got there they had the cabin given to someone else, needless to say we were not pleased,we drove to st lunure, and the lady at southwest pond cabins was very accommodating, they didn’t have a wc cabin available, but we took one anyway,so poisoned burnt cape cottages, after a 4 hour drive and to know you actually called a few places to get wc cabins wasn’t very nice,I wouldn’t recommend your cabins to anyone, first time booking with you and well be the last.the reason booking a wheel chair cabin was because of an adult man in a wheelchair,so if you want to keep customers,be accommodating.shame on you guys.

Website misrepresentation. We booked a cabin by the water and what we got was a suite attached to owners home under construction nowhere near water. We spoke directly to owner at time of booking and nothing was mentioned about this location. Price was excessive. Not sure addition is up to building code and rental accommodation compliance. No accommodation certification, fire safety information, no extinguisher on-site or privacy lock on adjoining door, no window covering on door. Would not recommend.

We booked the 3 bedroom vacation home, which was very clean (and I am very picky), was very charming and had a great view.We were a little disappointed in the cafe (open for only a few hours per day). The cafe website said they were open until 9 and when our two teens went over at 8:31pm to order a piece of cheesecake to take back to our cabin, the waitress abruptly stated they were closed. The next evening we went over to dine in, and our waitress was miserable with us the whole time we were there. Sadly, we will remember how we were treated at the cafe, not that the food was actually delicious.

Nice new cabin right on the harbour. Loved the view. The owner was so accommodating and kind enough to make and deliver to my cabin the most delicious moose burger. I would highly recommend staying here.

Clean ,fully equipped cabins by the water. The cabins are very well designed. They have a fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The doublerooms have a washer and dryer also. The office serves as a mini grocery store and gas station so you have everything to refuel your trip.
