GTA Immigration Medical - Markham

TL;DR: Everything was great apart from the doctor. He was awful.To start the place was easy to find with ample parking. I was greeted at reception with a friendly face. The receptionist was efficient, polite and very helpful. Honestly one of the best front facing customer experiences I've had.The next person I interacted with was the nurse. Friendly, efficient and allowed me to make sure I understood what was happening before it happened. Excellent work.The doctor was the pivotal failure in experience for me. Dr Zachary Seifer. Wouldn't recommend. Strolled in after a long pause. Had no idea what my name was. Rushed through everything giving me no break to ask any questions or feel settled. He sprung a blood test on me. I wasn't expecting it (was not mentioned on the website). Told me to lay down and then without explaining anything took my blood. I know I have the right to stop the exam at anytine but he was so rushed and forceful I felt as if I couldn't.He is terrible at taking blood. I have donated blood at least 10 times in the past few years. Big needles etc. Somehow with a much smaller needle, Dr Seifer cause the most pain and discomfort I have ever experienced while giving blood. I have good veins. The man is uneducated or simply doesn't care enough to do his job properly.After taking blood he handed me some papers mentioned about an x-ray. I didn't hear him properly so as I was about to ask him to repeat himself it was too late. He practically ran out the door and into another room down the hallway. It wasn't busy. I was the only one there. I was left alone feeling confused and a bit lost. I had to ask the front desk what to do.Next was the X-ray. At a sperate cash only facility a 20 minute drive away. Be warned cash only. And it's not optional. You have to fork out more money and get yourself to a whole other location. Why?!?All in all. The staff where great and the facility were clean. The poor duty of care from the doctor and unconvince of the x-ray reduced the rating

It was a great experience with the staff. They were polite and quick in their work. Keep it working with the same spirit!

I called their office to sched an appointment but Francis gave me a spot within that day so my daughter and I made to have physical exam on the same day. When we get there we are accommodated and Francis was very nice and helpful. Dr. Samantha also nice and made or physical exam so smooth.I recommend their clinic for having so friendly staff and clean facilities.

While they were very busy on a Saturday afternoon, the Receptionists were incredibly efficient, polite, and friendly. Everyone worked fast but respectfully. Allow enough time to also have X rays done off-site.

The whole process was smooth, from scheduling, checking-in, seeing the doctor, and getting my x-rays done. The receptionist who helped me was very patient and thorough in helping me set up my patient record before seeing the doctor. The nurse and doctor at the time of my visit were straight forward about the assessment and when I could expect the results to be forwarded for my visa. A big thank you to the team at GTA Immigration Medical - Markham.

The reception was super friendly, welcoming, and informative. The Dr. was quick and efficient, took my blood super fast and with very little pain. I would definitely recommend this location. Immigration is stressful and they provided a great environment. Thanks!

Taking my exams at GTA MED on Markham was a pleasant surprise. Everything very organized, from the first contact, nice people who work happy and with a efficient and differentiated dedication. Thank you very much for the work of everyone in this place.

I arrived 20 mins. earlier than my scheduled appointment. The staff assisted me well with smiles and very accommodating, and the procedures went fast.Before my appointment, GTA keeps reminding me of my scheduled medical exam. And hereafter, they sent me appreciation email for choosing GTA. I highly recommended GTA. Thank you. Praying all is well with the medical exam for my visa extension. God blessAida Ramirez
