I loved my visit at Smoke and Bones. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was delightful. I will rate this 10/10 and I would definitely come here again!!

Smoke and Bones BBQ
A casual and large bbq restaurant in North Van. We had the beef brisket with fries which was delicious and would def order again. The portion seemed small at first but it does fill you up. The Mac and cheese was mediocre for us, the bbq pork on top is delicious but the Mac and cheese lacked flavor. We will come back and try out their other bbq meats.

My husband and I and my in-laws decided to try Smoke & Bones for the first time when we saw that they are participating in Dine Out Vancouver and we’re happy we did!Hands down the best bbq sauce I’ve ever had- it’s the perfect combination of everything… a little sweet, a little tang, a little spice. The cornbread is perfection, so nice and moist and all the meat was cooked exactly right as well (you get pulled pork, brisket and pork ribs). Their fries are not just your average side either, they are crispy and seasoned appropriately. Also, I love that the meal automatically comes with a side of extra bbq sauce since everyone’s preference on sauce to meat ratio varies.The Dine Out menu came with ice cream for dessert. We thought it was vanilla when we first saw it but it was actually Dutch apple crisp which I’d never heard of! It was delicious! I honestly didn’t expect much out of ice cream at a bbq place but this left a lasting impression and was served in a cute mini cast iron dish.The only reasons for not giving 5 stars are that the starter which was a chicken and bean soup was way too salty, and service was quite slow. However, our server was very friendly and attentive when he did come by.We’ll definitely come back and not hesitate to recommend smoke & bones to our friends.

Smoke and Bones BBQ
Well worth the drive. Great service and even better food. Normally chicken is pretty low on my list of foods, but that might have been the first to be devoured. Smoked but still juicy and tender. The brisket was fall apart tender and (sorry) moist. Definitely get the fried brussel sprouts as well.

Solid BBQ Meat joint, everything on our platter was delicious. Ribs were fall off the bone, brisket was moist and flavourful, fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. Fast service and fair prices! As of April 2022 (2 meat combo + extra meat $49.98)

Just bought ten minutes ago. Taste was fine. But that is $40 not even enough for a single to eat for take/delivery out. I have been ordered there many times. And each time is more and more less than I expected. May be it is because I called from my out-province number… will not be there again.

Smoke and Bones BBQ is a very nice place to hang out with family and friends, it has a very characteristic and unique atmosphere. The food is very good especially anything pork. Try their slow cooked pulled pork and you will try it again:)

Smoke and Bones BBQ
We ordered each and every meat available. Unfortunately they were dry except for the brisket. we didnt enjoy the food. One of very few bbq places in the area. But I was expecting good quality of southern bbq. I’m afraid it didnt meet any of our expectations.The atmosphere was good and the servers were friendly and apporachable if you dont sit outside.

Smoke and Bones BBQ
I first had Smoke & Bones previously when they were apart of the RibFests that traveled around the Lower Mainland years ago. I’ve wanted to visit their restaurant for a while now and after I found out they were partaking in Dine Out Vancouver Festival this year, I knew I had to go. We each started off with a Taco (1 Baja Fish, 1 Pulled Pork), then ordered the 3 Meat Combo Plate and finished our meal off with the Ice Cream with Nut Brittle topping. My only complaint would be that the Ribs were a bit too dry and chewy, and the coleslaw had zero flavour. But the taco was fantastic, the brisket and pulled pork were very tender and moist, the beans had a pleasant taste of apple and cinnamon, and I absolutely loved the Nut Brittle on top of the ice cream. I wish there was a meat sampler platter for parties of 2.
