This small shop is so amazing in so many ways. Nice selection. You can feel the attention to detail, including every human interaction.Oh, and one can buy fountain pen ink by the 3ml/5ml vial, which is a great opportunity to try new inks without committing to a complete bottle!! ❤️

I love Nueva Era so much! Always kind and friendly faces and an amazing experience. They have an amazing selection of different small or local artists as well as great VEGAN (!!) pastries and small desserts.I’m also not a fan of coffee but they have a delicious alternative with the vegan horchata (it escapes my head now if it’s always available but I had it during the Summer and it was great)Definitely check it out if you’re in Montreal!

My favorite stationery shop! Go for the products and come back many times for the people❤️ As a stationery lover it is so much fun to meet others that share same passion! They are kind, fun and generous. You can find a nice variety of products including local artists. Don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations and even get nice drinks! Really recommend the shop❤️

Papeterie Café Nueva Era
Are you interested in making latte art? I highly recommend taking a 2-hour workshop with the store owner if you are. She is professional and super friendly. You can take it by yourself or with a partner. I learned a lot, had a lot of fun and made cute little latte arts. You will also get to taste the espresso and latte you made. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

New little gem in my hood. The fruity coffee is outstanding fruity quality brewed by a bonafide barista. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I was a bit heart broken after 8OZ coffee left the neighborhood but this place was a big pleasant surprise. The papetrie has great choice and many quirky delights. Best part is that you can ask for a trial ink vial at a fraction of the price before committing to a larger ink bottle. My only wish is that there was a place to sit down and work.

The service here is very friendly. You can tell that they are passionate about pens and stationary. The selection of products seems very carefully curated. I love that they have a binder with writing samples of the inks that they carry and also that you can purchase 3 or 5 mL samples.

Super nice people and a little cute store. I give 4 stars because their selection is limited, however we should support these kinds of individually owned stores that add a charm to their neighbourhood.
