I remembered wanted a set of flip up lens caps for my scope as it was just stored in the broom closet against the wall...like a broom. The lens would collect dust. so I asked this chubby kid working there if they had any....instead of looking it up, collecting the money and ordering it...he decided ridiculing me was the more prudent sales approach..........going all out on a .22 eh?" ...I just turned and walked out...never to return. I assume this kid was family.....as he was awfully comfortable there. That's no way to sell stuff."

I took a friend there to shop for a shotgun. Dan is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and there is NO pressure to buy.He also did a wonderful repair on my 20 gauge O/U.Eli's is a true gem and...my choice for my next gun!

My experience as a 1st time customer from out of town was excellent. Dan, the owner put a used shotgun aside for me a day in advance and was helpful and patient as I went over it in detail to make sure it’s what I want and in the condition I want it in. Dan seems very passionate about what he does. The shop was immaculately kept. The price I paid for the used Winchester beat out all the competition and made the drive from Waterloo well worth it. 10/10 for COVID precautions in case you care about that.

I had to up my review to 5 stars after multiple great interactions with this couple. Nice folks, fair prices on a great stock selection. Beautiful store really, we're lucky to have them in town.

Great place to shop! They have a good selection of items at excellent prices. I have had many good conversations with Dan each and every time I stopped in. I bought a new Henry 45/70 here that had some burrs in the chamber. Dan quickly resolved the issue and ensured there were no more extraction issues.After reading some of the reviews and having a few good laughs I have to say, you must be very soft to get offended by Dan and his staff. The team at this store do express their honest opinions and view points (usually political). While it might not be inline with your own, it is a right we as Canadians have. If you are looking for someone to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside this might not be the place for you. If you need honest advice and direct answers, I could not think of a better place in Simcoe.

First time visiting Eli's, and I had a great experience, was able to find the right firearm I was looking for. As well the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks guys!

Dan and staff are excellent. They had everything we needed for this years hunting season. Great prices and knowledgeable in all topics of equipment and more. Highly recommend a visit. I know I will be back soon.

Their roadside sign always has a cringe worthy message on it. Pretty unprofessional.Try advertising your business, opposed to your political stance.

By far the best firearm store around, If they don't have it Dan will bend over backwards to get it for you. Great customer service, Great knowledge, and a great selection to choose from. I have referred multiple people to go see Dan and will continue to do so
