**Back again, would highly recommend to anyone!**I'd like to take the time to say how much of a wonderful experience it was having Prosper work on 3x pair of jeans and pants I brought in to get shortened. Amazing quality work done the same day couldn't have asked for anything more. He is extremely knowledgeable in the fashion industry and takes the time to communicate and explain everything to you. Goes above and beyond, a real gem in customer service. Will certainly be back soon!

Probably the best and only place for all your raw denim needs! My jeans were starting to blow out, so I brought them here and Prosper repaired and reinforced them excellently! Amazing costumer service as well. You can get your own custom fitted jeans and denim jackets here too. Would definitely be back!

Definitely the best place in Montreal to find jeans. The selvedge denim is ordered from Okayama Japan and jeans are custom made to perfection. Every detail is looked after carefully. I’m a big fan of Prosper’s work and cannot wait to get my second pair.

I absolutely love Spare Jeans!!!As someone with bigger legs, I have always had a hard time finding pants that fit me well. I now have e pairs of pants from Prosper and they fit me perfectly!!His work is second to none! Ordered a pair of custom jeans and totally delighted with how they turned out! The process involved measurements, a preliminary fitting a few weeks later, and then a final try-on a few days after that (they fit perfectly). Prosper is extremely knowledgeable and designed the jeans to be timeless (straight leg, medium high waist), durable, (14 oz Japanese selvedge denim) and fit my body type - which is something I can’t find in stores. They were then packed in a matching cotton bag - a nice touch! The fit and quality of the jeans and the process of ordering/fitting were all great - thanks Prosper!

I brought Prosper a pair of my old jeans that I bought from the Jean Shop in NYC that no longer fit because I had lost some weight. He slimmed down the legs so expertly that it's impossible to tell that they've been altered. Believe me, Prosper really knows his denim and is a world-class tailor. And his prices are reasonable. Don't hesitate to pay him a visit!

I brought in a pair of Levi's and All Saints jeans that needed to have the waist and seat adjusted. Prosper did an amazing job. Now they both fit exactly how I wanted them to and the craftsmanship is so well done that you can hardly tell they were altered! I also brought in a shirt and he did a great job fixing the pocket for me. All for great prices!

The owner is passionate about denim, he has many vintage sewing machine and he is designing his own cloth.I had alteration on 2 of my denim, they were perfect and the price is reasonable.
