While coming into the course for First Aid Instructor, I was nervous, scared, felt a lack of knowledge, and intimidated on who else could be attending from paramedics to doctors. From the introduction of the course to the evaluation at the end of the course, those insecurities disappeared. Susie had a way to interact with the students to get them to relax and encourage them. There were some challenges throughout the weekend, but Susie never lost her composure and was encouraging the students right through the course.Myself being a manager in my company that sees all types of employees, Susie is a keeper! Her instructional strategies were amazing. I am not sure if she gets a lot of praise, but I wanted to pass this along, as it's always great to hear things about your team.

We send anyone from our business requiring First Aid and CPR certification to this branch. Specifically, the last 2 days were awesome. Great training room, extremely knowledgeable trainer, this is a St. John's gem in KW. Thanks for the 5-star treatment.Bill FlemingOwnerNew Hamburg Sobeys

I just finished my Standard First Aid and CPR Level C with AED today with Anne and it was amazing!! I was a little nervous with what to expect and if I would remember all the information but Anne was a fantastic teacher and I really feel prepared to perform CPR and first aid! She did a good job of adapting the practicals in regards to COVID and not being able to work in groups. She has MANY experiences and stories that helped the information stick and asked many questions to help reinforce the information. I live in Cambridge so this was a 30 minute drive for me but I’m already looking at the next class I can take at your location! Thanks Anne for everything!

I had a First Aid & CPR-A course with Moges and he is wonderful! I definitely learned a lot from him and he engaged the class in the material as much as one can with the content given. I felt that the room was a safe and respectful place & they provide coffee and tea, which is just above and beyond expectations :) I took off one star because the environment wasn’t ideal: the chairs were very uncomfortable, there is dulling fluorescent lighting, I found it to be very cold (bring layers!!), and the environment is kind of distracting (heating other classes occurring, employees chatting, etc). Overall, I would totally recommend this branch for the service, but there is room for growth. Thanks Moges and the lovely lady who greeted me and took my temperature.

My wife did a first aid/cpr course here under Nancy Hawes and let me tell you, it was an absolute disaster. Nancy was not only rude and extremely demeaning to her students, but she spent a majority of the time cutting up first responders (firefighters and police) in the region. With 0 experience in ANY medical field that is not only unprofessional but completely uncalled for. If I had known how poorly my wife was going to be treated I would have taken the instructor course through the red course and trained her myself. If you ever take a course here and see Nancy as your instructor backout immediately unless you like being put down.
