Best fly shop in all the Lower Mainland by far, really helpful with everything. Most knowledgeable employees for fly fishing needs. Made the mistake of going to other shops in the past and got some bad advice when stepping into the spey world and purchasing lines/rods, M&Y staff definitely know what they are talking about and are keen to help you.

I was buying a present for a friend and I don't know much about fly fishing, but the young guy working here was super helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend coming here if you're in need.

Was just here with friends for window shopping but the old man by the counter was really friendly and answered all our newbie questions nicely. He was very jolly and pleasant to talk to and he looks like santa claus as well hahaha.I definitely would recommend this place if anyone ask me for a fly fishing store.

Very cool shop as far as products and gear. Not very big, but a good amount of gear for being in a small space. Usually I enjoy the small fly shops because you get good service and good knowledge. So with COVID restrictions right now, shop capacity is 3 customers. When I entered the shop I was asked if I needed help, but I wanted to browse at first. I had intentions of buying a rod and booking a guided trip in spring, but after literally standing at the register with a hat in hand and watching the three employees help and checkout two other customers who walked in as I was waiting at the register...I decided to spend my money somewhere else. Pretty sad customer service when there is a 3 person max capacity and 3 employees working. I was standing at the register for 20 minutes and not one time was I asked if I needed help or was ready to checkout. Sure, I could have spoke up...but should I have to? Not in a shop that small. I will take my money to a different shop.

Amazing service. I have met at least 4 different workers now, all of whom have been incredibly knowledgeable and patient with me as a beginner. Never feel rushed, or upsold. They’ve recommended flies, spots, gear and all tailored to my budget and needs. Anyways I could go on and on but I seriously feel lucky to have such a great fly shop near by!

I went here 3 times during my holiday. First I bought a load of tying stuff. Came back to buy Patagucci Expedition waders. Came back another time and had a chat for an hour so and laughs with the owner. Gave my wife stickers. This store is a gem.

First time shopping here today and was very happy with the service and selection. Aaron was super patient, knowledgeable and spent a lot of time answering questions and getting me setup with tying materials. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

Catherine helped me over the phone with making an exchange with Tim and Graham. Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend you visit the shop!
