Shoppers Drug Mart

I had to get a Rx filled today. It was faxed in by my doctor at 11 AM. At 2 PM I went to get it. They said they did not get it. I called the doctor's office and confirmed the fax number. The doctor asked if they recheck their faxes. They were very annoyed that they would be asked to do this. They stated they have no RX for me. I asked the doctor's office to re send the RX. As I was waiting for the fax one of the staff found it in the bin for faxes.No sorry, or nothing. They advised they would do it in order and there were other people ahead of me. I said OK and waited. They said it would take 30 minutes. After 30 minutes I went over to cancel the order. There were four people behind the counter and only one appeared to doing RX and he was not very quick. As I reached the counter he advised it was ready. As I approached the pick up counter another one of the employees yelled It is not ready and you will have to wait your turn." He continued with there are other people ahead of you. After a couple of minutes a third employee called me up and I paid for the RX. She then stated I could not have the Rx until I spoke to the person who stated I would have to wait my turn. After he finished speaking to a person at the counter he said take these with food. Take as directed and if you don't need them don't take them???At not time was there an apology for the delay or any please

I moved here from Langley City (& imo a horrible Shopper's location because of rude and unprofessional pharmacy services on Fraser Hwy in the Save On Foods Mall). I've been in Brookswood over three months now. I have dealt a lot with this Shoppers pharmacy as well as the store and post office and I'm very happy with everything!!The pharmacy always has my prescriptions ready when I go to pick them up. The one time they didn't they offered to deliver them to my home later that day which they did and it was excellent service that I appreciated. The cashiers up front in the store have all been helpful and pleasant and the one who sees me the most office remembered how I like my shopping bags packed for walking!!

My prescriptions are at this pharmacy. I never had any complaints until maybe 6 months ago. I've only encountered 1 rude staff member in the pharmacy...I try to avoid him. Everybody else has been pleasant. It IS extremely frustrating that, at times, they don't answer the phone (I don't know if the phone issue corresponds with the rude guy's shifts). A number of times I've called to see if they've received the prescription yet, but after being in the hold loop for half an hour (and trying multiple times), I eventually have to drive there just to find out if they've even rec'd the paperwork. I used to receive a text when a prescription was ready, but that hasn't happened in a while.

This location is the biggest joke of a pharmacy. It used to not be so bad but now it’s horrible. I don’t know if the pharmacists just don’t care at all or if it’s a top down problem because they are understaffed. Either way, they straight up do not answer the phone, I’ve been waiting for almost 40 mins right now as it rings and rings. This is not the first time, it happens every single time as of the last 6 months or so. They also constantly tell you that they are behind for days on prescription refills that people like you or I need that day. Get your $@#T together Shoppers Brookswood. Brutal.

The pharmacy is terrible. Often takes days to fill a prescription, they do not answer the phone. The staff is rude and unhelpful. They are too busy to provide any customer service at all. Even for emergency prescriptions, 4-5 hours isn't enough time to fill it. Use Brookswood pharmacy instead.

I like this shoppers but don't agree with the sales prices I was there a few days ago and they had certain sunscreens on sale for 8.99 today I go in there and same sunscreens have a sign in front of them saying on sale 12.79 a bit confusing and betraying. It seems to be getting more expensive as with everything else but at least they could do is be more consistent and not as deceptive. They also need more cashiers was there other day line up of about 8 ppl and one cashier not everyone wants to use self checkout . I believe manager was in food section ignoring cashier.

My wife and I were looking for travel clinics for our upcoming trip and were surprised to hear their pharmacy departments started offering travel consultations. It was quick and easy to book and they had openings sooner than the other private ones we had inquired. Maninder was friendly and knowledgeable throughout the appointment and we were finished within 30 minutes.FYI - Since the program is quite new and only recently introduced, there were bound to be delays. While we were told it would take 15 minutes to receive our prescriptions, it wouldn’t be until the next morning before Maninder notified me it was ready for pick up. Still very reasonable timing as it would’ve taken far longer than the expected 15 minutes to (1) scan/deliver documents, (2) address any issues, and (3) have another available doctor review and advise on additional medications/vaccines, before preparing the prescriptions.Thanks to the great service they provided in the end, I would still recommend visiting this pharmacy location.

About a month ago I had my doctor send a prescription here and I went in the next day to pick it up and they said it wasn’t ready and that they were super busy and it would be ready the following day. They told me they were working with a 2 day turn around time. I have now learned my lesson to call first before having a doctor send in an rx. I understand all the short staff issues we are having, but a 2 day process time for medication in my opinion is a bit much.

Went to the pharmacy today to fill a prescription. Because of the rude and unprofessional way I was treated from the moment I walked up to the counter, I took my prescription and walked away. After reading all these bad reviews for the pharmacy, I'm very happy I walked away. Treating people in this manner is absolutely unacceptable. Soon you won't have any customers to ruin your day and make you so nasty to people. I shop at this Shoppers all the time as we own the liquor store across the street and our head office is on 192nd & 32nd. Won't be going back for ANYTHING anymore. Brutal.....very disappointing

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. The staff are all 100 % incompetent. Have all my medications set up on their automatic renewal not once in the year I've been going there has this service worked for me. I also have told them on several occasions not too use child proof lids on my medications as my arthritis is so bad can't open them. Husbands heart medication ran out they never informed him or bother to give an emergency supply until doctor refilled the prescription. Save your money and sanity go somewhere else
