Staff is super friendly, lovely to chat with. They're very responsive to phone calls when planning an excursion. They were very accommodating and opened up the shop just for us in the early spring season (and again came back to receive the rental return). And the rental prices can't be beat! Highly recommend

Great ice cream. U need they got it.

Felt discriminated against as they were quite nice to the white people before and after us, but felt a shift in attitude when we were served. Definitely not welcome to people of colour as you can see in other reviews, go to the Killbear park mall instead.

The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Great selection of camping gear and at better prices than the other store down the street. Ice cream was delicious. Defiantly stop by and see what's in store.

I’ve been here a few times anytime I’ve dealt with the husband (store owner) I never had issues however dealing with his wife is a terrible experience. She is extremely rude, always seems annoyed to have to talk to people and just sits there and glares at everyone coming into and out of the store never gives a welcome or anything just has a irritated look on her face like it’s such a burden for people to go into the store and give them their business. Judging by the other reviews left maybe work on fixing the common issues rather than wasting time arguing and bickering with people about there experiences at your store. Just an idea ?

This is my go-to place to stop whenever I'm heading into Killbear Provincial Park and for restocking (firewood, ice, snacks etc). My family and I have been coming here for years and will continue to! The prices are very reasonable and much better than the shop a little closer to the park, so they are definitely worth the extra 2 minute drive (this store is only 7 minutes drive from Killbear and it's on your way on the ON-559 on your way into the park, so not far at all!). Was just here last week and the staff are also super friendly and helpful! They even came outside to help my friend with the ice without her even asking. I might sound silly to say they have the best ice for your coolers, but they really do. The bag of cubed iced is only $3, but what I love is the slabs of ice they sell for only $4. One slab alone will last in my large cooler at least 3 full days without any additional ice needed. Super convenient! If you forget to pack anything for your camping trip, this it the place to go!

Kind of a creepy old store. Lots of products for camping if you forgot something though. Wide selection of clothing with Killbear logo.

Rudest owners ever. My husband said hi as we passed by the cashier they did not care to answer let alone welcoming us. They kept checking on us as if we gonna steal something and made us really uncomfortable. I also saw how they treated their “white” customers which was really friendly. What a racist place and people!*edit: answer to the storeWhat a rude and vindictive response from a business. Maybe you should try apology next time. You were not busy at all, there was not any other customer in the store we were the only one. You are racist and discriminating as you can see the same impression in other reviews. Unbelievable!
