Queensborough Landing Outlet Mall

The people of Queesborough landing were very excited when this place opened about 17 years back. But the problem of this place is that it is serviced by very sketchy public transport. Wonder if Walmart will be able to bring in the crowds. So far it doesn't look like it.

Let me set it up: I'm in town for a couple of weeks so I thought I'd catch the bus from Richmond Centre, since it didn't seem too far. Well, after an hour on the bus it got me within a 10-minute walk. But wow, what a brutal walk. People were obviously not meant to be walking here. Once I arrived at the mall it did not improve. Walking was truly viewed as an afterthought. Sidewalks were bizarrely placed with no consideration for convenience. Most just dump into vehicle traffic areas. Crosswalks don't really exist. The stores were placed VERY far apart and there is zero shade unless you are beside a building. It really looks like this place was designed for an American wasteland by the Ford motor company. And obviously nobody wants to spend any time here because a lot of it is sitting empty, including the massive parking lots. Absolutely mindblowing that someone approved this design and thought it would work for very long. Hopefully they redevelop the area or, better yet, the stores move somewhere people can actually get to on foot!

While some vendors moved out in recent Covid years, good place for window shopping with plenty of parking. Saw daycare service opened, along with another grocery store coming soon?

The best outlet store centre I’ve ever been!! I love it there. American Eagle and Walmart are my favs!

Good and better place as well as huge discount in factory outlets of tommy , CK, AE, ON, GAP

Lots of outlet stores with sales and not bad selection of restaurants serving Northern Indian to Portuguese flame grilled chicken to sushi.
