Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area
Really enjoyed the trails and pleasantly surprised to the size of this place. Walked 11km and still lots more to see and explore. Great spot for birding and nature Photography. Lots of different types of terrain. This visit had lots of Tundra Swans and Ducks. Even spotted a pair of Blue Birds. We will be back to explore this area in more detail. Trails are excellent and well marked. A great spot for kids to get out and roam and run.

Beautiful area thats open to the public and free to use although a small donation or membership purchase helps keep it clean! Many different uses for hunting, hiking, kayaking and of course a birders paradise!

Many different trails all over, and they're all pretty easy. Lots of variety in flora and fauna. Some areas can be very wet, depending on the year. One recent year there were no marshy areas, but normally there are wetlands here and there. Great place to take your dog for a long walk. Hunting is allowed here, so be cautious. I don't stick around if I hear gunshots.

Magnificent marsh with sprawling dyke systems, lots of trails and from what I've heard prime waterfowl hunting territory! Looks great for kayaking, however make sure to pay attention to the user guide to ensure you're abiding by the rules. So much to explore here!

Nice place. Well maintained. We are not hunters and it was crazy trying to find a safe area to hike during hunting season, so I'd suggest only hiking there in the off-season.There are lots of places to enter the area, all have parking. Two areas have raised viewing platforms, at least one washroom facility. Each parking lot also has a mailbox-type container (usually painted yellow) that has free user-guides inside. These are very informative booklets with information on hiking trails, a birding checklist and hunting rifles and regulations. We thought the hiking trails were off-limit to hunters, but they seemed to be everywhere at the start of deer season, so we went elsewhere. We will be back for walking in the off-season though. It's also a place the tundra swans often stop on their migratory route in the spring. Nice to see.

You’ll have a hard time finding a better ( Upland and Waterfowl) bird hunting spot than this place.
