From Chris, SOS Renovation and there team were fantastic to work with and delivered a fantastic basement. It was completely unfinished with no framing and now we have a fully functional space that is great quality.I gave my ideas and a plan to the team and they made great recommendations not only to make the space better but to also save me money, definitely not what I would have expected. The communication from billing to just updates on progress and any potential adjustments were always presented quickly.Project was delivered on time, on budget and the team was very respectful of our home and great with the dog. Maybe they're good at renos, but what kind of company dumps their waste on the road to dispose of it? There's a big white patch of paint or grout waste in front of a house where they're working...and I saw the guy emptying it there. You know it doesn't just magically disappear, right? If you think that's the right way to do things, what else are you getting wrong?

We were very happy with the finished product of our bathroom renovation (will update with photos once it’s completed with shower glass that was subcontracted).Like any renovation, there were surprises, hurdles, and miscommunication, but these gentlemen were profession, persistent, and dedicated to their work.We have had many contractors in our home for various jobs and were underwhelmed (please see previous reviews). Most we have not used twice. Steve of all skills will definitely be our first to call in the future.

Steve and his crew hands down must be THE best in Niagara. We hired them to do a complete interior renovation of our 1940's home and to build us a new attached garage and front and rear decks. Every step of the way, Steve was there to answer any of our questions and address all of our concerns. He was always good for keeping in contact everyday to inform us of what was going on and what to expect in the following days. He and his crew became like family to us and were absolutely amazing through what would typically be a very stressful experience. They showed up everyday and worked tirelessly to give us the home we envisioned. They took all of the ideas that we had and brought them to fruition and our house AND garage/decks are now exactly how we had envisioned them to be. On top of being punctual, they also ensured that the work area was clean after every shift which was very much appreciated. Steve's son, Kyle oversaw much of the work when Steve was being pulled to other jobs and it is safe to say that Steve is not the only one with a lot of skills. For being so young, Kyle is an incredible carpenter and shows an immense amount of passion for the work he does (just like his father). Steve's wife Julie takes care of the invoicing and was also wonderful to work with and was always quick to reply with any transactional inquiries that we had. It has been such an incredible experience seeing our house go from the outdated mess it was to being stripped down to it's bones and then rebuilt to reflect a more modern day look. We couldn't have asked for a more tentative group of guys to complete this work and we are beyond satisfied with the end result! Thank you so much Steve, Julie, Kyle, Jacob and Brandon for giving us this amazing home to live in. You guys are the absolute best and we will certainly miss having you here. We purchased an older home that required extensive renovations including:- finishing of 80% of a basement, with new bathroom and shower installation, plus storage spaces, flooring stairs and window casings.- reorganizing main floor by eliminating walls and opening up space, fixing up main floor bathroom, redoing kitchen and dining room area.- new electrical wiring through most of the home.Since we're not handy or well-connected wit the trades, we needed someone who could take charge and plan and execute the process, step by step, and Steve and his crew did exactly this for us.Steve and his son Kyle are both professional carpenters, which was important because the house had some structural imperfections, which they resolved with ease. For example, our kitchen floor was sagging, and they corrected this by reinforcing from below in an innovative way that was both solid and space-saving. We were impressed by how effectively the renovations maximized usable space and storage.The quality of the work was very high. They built us gorgeous new stairs. All of the trimming was very attractive, all flooring was aligned perfectly and noiseless. They dropped the ceiling in the living room to accommodate a drywall ceiling, pot lights and wiring. The basement is a beautiful, bright, livable space and the bathroom and shower are attractive.Steve brought in very good electrical and plumbing people and ensured that everything was working well and efficiently.What I liked the most was that I genuinely believe that Steve was making our interests his top priority. He was in constant communication with us about how exactly we wanted everything, while always remaining conscious of our budget. Steve and everyone on his team were very friendly, and made the effort to explain everything to us in ways that we could understand.I feel I have received very good value for my investment with this company, and would go to them again without hesitation for my next renovation project of any size.
