Please do not instal your alarm from them. My alarm system was installed by them in DEcember 2021, since now never worked a single day properly. They will fraud you by binding you into 3 years contract, and then will make you pay for the services which will never delivered to you. I am tired of calling them to fix my alarm system last six months. I never seen such a unprofessional work.I don't know why builder (MNM group) recommend this company to us.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dealing with Kris Naidu she is extremely professional.She never pushed anything on us as far as sales she was very knowledgeable and made our experience dealing with Smart-Tech easy and not stressful. I can only hope that when it comes time for our house to be built the technicians will be just as pleasurable to deal with. Highly recommend this company. Thank you Kris!

Incorrect conduit, installed. Poor installation resulting in a kinked conduit making video wiresimpossible to pass through.Made several complaints and matter was notaddressed until now.Beware, very poor service.I Had it done with another contractor.I sent 3 emails to Rob ( owner); he never replied. I will not recommend them.

Had to write a review on this wonderful sales rep Kriss Naidu -I was blessed to meet at Smart - Tech about a month ago -She help to ease my nerves because I was feeling overwhelmed with the entire upgrading process. I told her my desires and she help me choose the best upgrades to suit my lifestyle. She honestly made my day . Very professional, genuine and straightforward lady . Absolutely one of the best experiences I ever had from a sales person. A+

I recently used Smart Tech to rough in home theater, alarm, speakers and cameras throughout my home and highly recommend using them.  Ricky has been an absolute please to deal with.  He is very knowledgeable and has been very easy to get a hold of. All work has been completed in a timely manner and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

I recently used Smart-Tech for all of my home security, automation and home theater needs. John was very polite and friendly to deal with. I have read some of the other posts and people have shared service was a nightmare...… I personally had issues with an HDMI thrower multiple times due to moisture from my hot tub, they were very responsive and came out quickly to resolve. Pricing was fair and installation was top notch. Highly recommend this company.

I cannot be clear enough when I say, DO NOT waste your hard earned money here. ZERO customer service skills. Smart-Tech was recommended by our builder and we made an appointment with John T. Our initial consultation already left a bad taste in our mouths when he only adressed my wife . When we arrived, we went through different features that we would like in our new home. John was enthusiastic and made many suggestions along the way. We finalized what we wanted and John said he would send us a quote. Upon receiving the north of $60,000 quote, we naturally consulted with a friend (in the IT business) who advised us that much of the hardware quoted, appeared to be quoted at 3 times the retail price. We contacted John and asked him if we could supply some of the hardware ourselves, as we were able to get it for less elsewhere... we received several interesting responses... one of which being So what

After sales service has been terrible. Try getting Rob Mazzoli to return an email or phone call for service.Installation was mediocre at best. At least he did send someone back to try to correct the many installation issues. Some done, others not.My home AV system still doesn’t work after almost 4 years, cameras he supplied are junk, central vac outlets are fussy to get to work and window sensors have fallen off.

Severe issues with almost everything they installed. Had to have several new contractors come in to fix their mistakes (at my cost).Alarm was wired incorrectly - two technicians from two other companies (when looking for someone to fix the alarm system) were both amazed as to the incompetence of the previous installation (Smart-Tech). Resorted to ripping out the alarm and installing a whole new system (from another company of course).Central vacuum failed - they (Smart-Tech) had incorrectly set up the tubing in the garage and had put in an underpowered system for the house. Most concerningly, they had glued the PVC piping to the central vacuum itself - this is a big no no and the basic installation manual for the vacuum warns you not to do this. Had to cut out the piping to get the vacuum out. Now we have to redo the piping in the garage. The new installer was amazed as to Smart-Tech's ineptitude (we were not!). We are throwing out the old vacuum recommended by Smart-Tech and installing a new one after fixing their other basic installation mistakes.Very unhappy with speaker installation - they had simply decided where to place a speaker without consulting with us first.Security camera installation had to be adjusted with respect to camera placements, this had to be fixed ourselves.After paying for internet wiring for the house, they did not label the wires (a very basic installation courtesy). Had to pay another technician to come in and label them all.Their installers left screws and other small items lying around on the ground throughout the house - thankfully I found them before our toddler did. They left their takeout garbage inside a green bin in a brand new house. The home was not lived in at one point when they were installing and one of the installers tracked dust all over the brand new home.Their installers left a bottle of water on top of my electrical panel.Basically had to literally clean up after them and also figuratively clean up after them.I would have never used them in a million years had it not been forced upon us by the builder.The installers asked us what they should be doing at some points. Amazed that after signing off on so many things, the installers didn't know what they were doing. Little did I know that this was the harbinger of things to come.It is cheaper to find reputable installers for various items than dealing with this company. Even if you are forced to use their services by a builder, only do the bare minimum. Everything else is cheaper and can be worked around.Do NOT trust them with your house. It is cheaper in the long run to just do things yourself. I learned my lesson the hard way after spending close to $15,000 (as far as I can remember) with this company. I have now had to spend over $6,000 or more fixing issues. Get an alarm system from someone else - it will be cheaper for both the installation and the monitoring.I am still waiting to find other mistakes they have made - perhaps a conduit somewhere is not done right? With this company at the helm you will find surprises waiting for you long after their installers have come and gone.
