Island Animal Hospital (The)

This morning, we had to send our Golden retriever to heaven. The compassion from the Veterinarian and his staff was heartwarming after such a great loss.Thank you

We are so fortunate to have such a caring and compassionate veterinarian team caring for our fur-families. All of team go above and beyond to ensure the well-being of our animals, keeping abreast on complex patients, checking up on how sick one's are doing. The team makes sure that owners know treatment options so family's can make the decision best for them and their pet. They are always available when needed and are very reasonably priced. We could not be happier with our fur-family's health care team. I've lived in a number of different places and this team has always been supportive when we have had healthcare issues elsewhere. We are forever grateful for this caring and compassionate team.

Brought our family pet to cross the rainbow bridge with dignity and without pain. It went without major issue and they were very compassionate as well. I'd just like to let everyone know know that if you ask if euthanasia is the best course of action before actually committing.. they will charge you an extra $100. At the time, It felt soo..... wrong but they can charge what they want, I guess. Just a fair warning as it was unexpected for us. Didn't know until we got the bill. Their care was amazing and comforting to not only our sweet old girl but to us the owners as well. Thank you so much, we will miss our sweet old gal, but it was for the best.

Dr. Jo and all her staff go way beyond the call. They are emotionally involved and will frequently call when there is a know issue looking to get an update of offer more help. The care has always been over the top, even their pricing is compassionate. Thanks to all the staff!

Seems very professional, though I haven't been inside. Showed genuine care for my animals and kept me well updated. Maybe a bit pricey but it's a nice place, and a cheap vet isn't always the best vet.

Excellent Vetinary Serve!!! They are where very through, and gentle when completing an examination. When we needed to take one of our very sick cats in for a check - up last summer. They are compassionate and caring when delivering unfortunate news.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Awesome place, awesome people. So understanding & compassionate.

Love this place. Both locations actually. All staff are so nice and treat my animals very well. Highly recommend for your pets medical needs.And as usual this is just my opinion :-)

Got us in right away with our sick puppy. And didn’t cost us a lot. Vet and technicians were amazing!
