We ordered a beautiful walnut table from Ryan. He was very responsive and easy to work with, with great attention to detail. We love our new table, it’s exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend.

We contacted Ryan to build us a desk, which is a both artistic and functional. He invited us to the workshop where we chose the piece of Big Leaf Maple that became the desktop. The wood has a glow and depth that changes depending on the light, and we treasure it even more because it was made from a tree that had come down in a storm here on Salt Spring. Ryan's craftsmanship and eye for detail make this a truly unique piece.

Ryan cares deeply about his work and his customers. He has amazing attention to detail and treats each project as if it was for his own home. He has made tables, a mantle and a countertop for us and we love all of them.

After seeing how amazing Ryan’s work was at a friends place on the island. I was thrilled to go see more of his wood collection and pieces and how much he loves what he’s doing. He sanded and finished both sides of a totally gorgeous maple slab he had that became my headboard which he wrapped well and delivered when he said he would, which was lightning fast times it seemed . Ryan is a really great honest guy and if you need any of his services I would totally want to do business with him again, which I will be soon!

Ryan was brilliant, consulting us every step of the way, sending progress pics, even visiting our space to see what worked. The end result is that we feel we have the most beautiful table, a piece of Salt Spring, that is a gathering point in our home, that he put his heart and soul into. It is cozy, yet modern, which fits with our modern farmhouse style of the house. We cannot stop looking at it. He also made a console table for our entry way, that is stunning. This all happened in quite a short space of time compared to the bigger furniture suppliers and Covid delays. Highly recommend them, its rare to find someone who takes such pride and care in what they do. We even have a picture of the tree it came from.

Ryan created two pieces for our home, a narrow console table to display a stone sculpture and a round breakfast nook table that has instantly become the preferred place to share a coffee or meal. The process was highly enjoyable for us as customers. His responses are quick, I was invited to visit his workshop allowing for input on the selection of the wood slab and we had a delightful discussion on how the piece should be cut to fulfill my vision of the final product. I much appreciated the opportunity for input. Ryan’s talent is twofold, he not only masterly prepares the wood elements of his pieces, but he also welds the metal frames. The carefully considered combination results in contemporary looking furniture that provides warmth and a lifetime of solidity. The turnaround time from discussions to delivery was surprisingly short. Thank you, Ryan, you enhanced our home in the most wonderful way.
