I recently ordered floor and wall tile and asked for assistance matching the two. I trusted their suggestions but when the contractor opened the boxes they did not match at all. I called and explained that maybe these were the wrong colour floor tiles and the response I got was it's my perception ". It was not my perception

Great customer recognition. It's been nearly 18 years since M.C.Decor tiled our then new two-sided fireplace. Anna is very good at problem solving. We replaced carpet that butted up to one side of the fireplace with glued down vinyl planks which changed the bottom profile of the bottom tiles to the floor. Anna made several suggestions that would work, depending on the look we're going for. Problem solved. Great customer service.

We are so grateful our contractor recommended M.C. Decor for our tile and flooring purchases. We were warmly welcomed by Ana-Paula, and she provided us excellent advice and guidance as we chose tile for our backsplash, hearth, and flooring for our family room.We were given samples to bring home to be really sure they were what we needed, and wanted. Our products arrived in a timely manner so our installer was not held up. We were always treated with patience, and kindness. Thank you for helping us make our new house, our home.

Very knowledgeable guy helped me get exactly what I needed. I placed my order thinking it might be a week, at least. It was there next day. Great service, great staff....You don't get this at the big box stores. Believe I tried all 3 of them first.

We bought a popular tile called Chicago Brick for our mudroom remodel. Delivery was taken with a view to having the tile ready in good time for the general contractor but as is often the case the tiling job got delayed. My wife went to return the five spare boxes of tile (the calculation was done by MC Decor) literally the day after the tiling was done. She was told that their policy on returns is 30 days and they could not do anything. In fact their invoice says, “No returns on ordered items unless otherwise authorized & a minimum $20 or 20% restocking fee plus freight will be charged …” Even when the general contractor, a relatively big company in Kingston, called to encourage some flexibility they refused. So beware, with MC Décor you are dealing with a small company that has zero flexibility on their return policy. This was a $340 loss for us. In future we will stick with the bigger, more customer service-oriented building stores.

Had a fantastic experience with this company. Worked with Ana to select hardwood, laminate and tile for an entire home. She is truly an expert with an eye for trends and colour/texture selection. She made this stressful process easy and seamless. Highly recommend.

Wonderful people and service! Most helpful and knowledgeable flooring store in Kingston. I recently renovated my house and purchased wood and tile from them. Ana was very helpful in picking the right colours to compliment my house. Her attention to detail made me feel confident in her suggestions. Kevin also helped me and was very friendly and helpful. I suggest this store to anyone that is looking for the best service, prices and expertise. My house looks amazing and I couldn’t be happier.

I love these local folks. I do however, feel frustrated at times that their phone doesn't work, often saying that the customer is not available"... it's been happening for two years. i've chatted with the owners and nothing changes. I love buying local and supporting local and i like being able to call and talk about my orders or questions i have. If i lived closer (i live an hour away)

Great service. They kept my tile for me for quite a long time over Xmas til I needed it. Price was much less compared to other places for the same thing.

They have a great selection of tiles to choose from. Prices are competitive with other stores. I was told I could return unused tiles. I had only a few tiles that I did not use. They refused to return them. Sales staff were rude and very disrespectful. One male staff in particular was wanting to fight with me. He ran down the stairs in a flurry to confront me. Never been treated this badly by a sales staff before. When I called a couple of days later to complain about the service they stood behind the actions of the sales associate. Will never be in the store again, nor will I ever recommend them.
