I generally encourage local shopping as local businesses are a communities foundation although, this place, I would suggest going online. These guys couldn't even stick around for a few minutes past 4:30 (which is ridiculous hours) to help me with a part that would have allowed me.to work on a project over the weekend. I would have left earlier but noticed last minute that 4:30 is closing time not 5:00. One star is as low as I could go sadly

I wish there was a different store I could go to, because It's painful to shop here.The main retail person Is an irritable, condescending, know-it-all, and the people that are actually helpful are hidden away somewhere most of the time. The markup on a lot of items is outrageously high and prices aren't listed anywhere, which means you have to bring items up to the mean retail guy to ask for the price.

I'm updating my review as Paul ended up emailing me and helping me after I posted about my poor experience. He offered a solution of talking with a different employee that has proved to be helpful with the support I was looking for with a potentiometer slider. My first experience with the store was poor but I definitely appreciate the help that Bill has offered me.

Best place in town for 9V batteries. Don't get ripped off by those big box stores!But also check the business hours, this is a before-work stop, not an evening (or even weekend) one.

Zero customer service. Unwilling to point customer in any direction. Dont bother buying local...Amazon doesn't design either, but at least provides information (also without attitude). Zero attemp to sell any product, nevermind features, benefits or advantages.If there's an award for Not my job"... I nominate WADE."

They sell stuff from non shady manufacturers. It is more expensive than Amazon but you get UL and CSA approved components that are certified to not be dumpster fires. They're great if you need something fast and have a good inventory. I tried using their website but it's not the best user experience and usually it's quicker just to drive there and leave with what I needed. They pretty well exclusively deal with low voltage electronics so don't go there looking for parts meant for medium voltage applications.
