Slowest staff I have ever witnessed

They have good products and cheap but they have a problem which is one cashier for 20 customers waiting in line I wish if they can have a self-check-out that would be great…

It's your normal dollar store. They have a good variety of products.

Great place for those temporary or seasonal items. Very easy place to spend $40 or $50 on all sorts of items you never really even knew you needed.

My sister and I are not from Quebec. We were passing through, and we stopped at the dollar store to grab a few things. We were there at around 6:30pm on Wed Oct 12th. The woman at the cash register (the only one working cash at that time) absolutely refused to speak English to us. We did our best to speak French to her but we are not from anywhere close to Quebec so where we grew up there is not much French education or any need to learn it as a second language. The cashier would ask us a question in French, knowing full well that we are English. We would ask “pardon?” and she would roll her eyes and just repeat her question in French before finally saying it in English since we didn’t understand some of what she was saying. It was a very frustrating experience, and she made us feel inferior. She had such a condescending attitude. When we were finished checking out, I even put in a last ditch effort and said “Merci beaucoup”, and she just stared at me and didn’t respond. She was very rude, judgemental, and unkind. We just felt like we weren’t welcome and she didn’t want to give us the time of day. She was impatient with us as soon as she learned we are English. The woman ahead of us in line was French, and the cashier was nice to her. This type of ignorance and discrimination needs to stop.

Really good store, I’ve never had a bad experience with employees, it’s pretty clean, good prices too

Lots of good merchandise at this store which is part of the mall. Access from the front and behind the mall.

What can you say about dollarama it's a really fun store to shop at they have all these cool items and for cheap wich I really like definitely go to dollarama you will bring 40 dollars with you and stoll come out with money

This dolorama is exactly what you expect from the franchise we have come to love.As a great example of how important consistancy is and how it is and should always be the same in all it s locations. I received the services and good I went for.Only reason I did not give the 5 the star was the wait times at the cash! Can be rather long at peak times. Needs perhaps self checkout kiosk so employees can focus on the important parts of the dolorama s successful business model. That is the shelves are always stocked, organized, clean and the same everywhere you go

I find they have more variety than other Dollarama out there. I like doing crafts with my daughter it's perfect for that too.
