Island camping is great! Great bow fishing. Big (and small) burbot, good times. You don't have to island camp in a tent to get out here#whitesprucesouth

A great lake and park. TONS to explore. Great for paddling.Stayed out on Spirea Island for two nights, the tent pages were great, the site clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend booking an island for a weekend fishing trip. The rainbows are plentiful.

Carp Lake Provincial Park and Protected Area
Have been going for years. Missed 2020 due to covid. Over since 2019, the trails to the lake have degraded to the point where you cannot walk down them without falling. fishing has also dropped off significantly. the boat docks are no longer out into the water but put against shore.

Great lake for fishing. Campsite is decent but up high from the water. We took 99 stairs down to get to the lake. There is quite a few docks around the bay to tie your boat to.

Carp Lake Provincial Park and Protected Area
Took the the Family to Carp Lake campground. It was a great place, very clean and well taken care of. Lots of nice large camping spot and places to store your boat trailers. They have a big playground for the kids to play at. The boat launch is concrete and there are 4 docks along the length of the compground. So no matter where you stay the your boat is a short walk away. Most of the stairs going down to the docks are quite steep but well maintained.

Carp Lake Provincial Park and Protected Area
This is a beautiful park. Approximately 30 minutes in from hwy 97 North. A beautiful hike into War Falls. War campground has about 12 sites right on the lake with 2 pit toilets and a boat launch. Carp Lake campground is much bigger and provides a cement boat launch , playground and hiking trails. The sites here are above the lake but the ones to the left of the boat launch have some very nice views. We hiked the beach trail which was amazing. About 100 steps to climb back up. Lol
