Humboldt Food Store

Advertised specials are not given even when specified on a delivery order, which could usually be forgiven but I was already dealing with customer service help due to store/online issues. Online order does NOT work even when confirmation email is received. Customer service to fix problems was very disheartening. I had to call numerous times, and left a message which never got returned, to even get someone to answer; and it ended up being someone at head office not even the food store. I appreciate the help given but it shouldn't have come to that in the first place. My kids had to miss school today because i didnt have school safe/ready foods to send them. If i had full time employment i would have been out a days wages to stay home with them, but thank gosh we got a whole 8 dollars off our almost 100 dollar grocery bill for the inconvenience. I was really looking forward to writing a great review of how they solved all the issues that arised by choosing Co-op, but that was not the case. I'm thoroughly disappointed and I'll be walking the 5k round trip to get groceries at another store next time. I have been in a really big bind and needed the local help.

Clean, well stocked and lots of room. Staff is polite and willing to help.

Management is amazing and understand the customer service is most important. In store sales and sale prices keep the inventory moving instead of sitting for prolonged periods.

Love that its locally owned, has great deals, and mid-range pricing. Usually my go-to. Has an ok selection of groceries, and a photo printing kiosk. Staff is pretty friendly. The location is a bit inconvenient though.

Although they were sold out of lemon juice, it wasn't from lack of effort for looking in the back to see if the shelf just needed a restock. The check out gal was A1 too.

Great produce and meat department but a little pricey

Friendly staff and a big, clean store but never seems to stock as many sale items as the sales happen. The produce section almost always never has any lettuce when I’m in, which is disappointing and very select amount of produce.
