Great Staff !!!! Amazing knowledge on products and best of all they make custom metal on site. I have been dealing with them for years and I don't have a single complaint.

I went in to the warehouse at Cedar Grove this morning and have never seen a more organized supplier. The guy at the front desk said chuck is responsible for it being that way. I'd suggest that Chuck deserves a pat on the back and a raise :-). Well done Ceder Grove! -Joe Heilman

When one of the employees was loading sheet metal into my car, he ripped the head liner and didn't even apologize. This happens on March 29 2018 at 1:50pm

Not friendly. They don't care to give discounts to established businesses. No pride in the staffs attitudes. They need a discussion with employees. Not sure if the owner cares or not. Great location.

Yesterday I called up Cedar Grove and asked them if they could do a custom flashing for me approximately 30 ft. It was imperative that they get the flashing that day. Unlike other fabricators who couldn't accommodate me cedar Grove was very pleasant and said yes we can do this for you please come down in an hour and pick up your order."I drove 45 minutes and picked up my flashing. When they brought it out to my vehicle it was very sunny and the flashing looked like it was the color I had ordered. I've been very specific so I didn't think there was a reason they would screw it up. Regardless I got back to my job site and realized it was the wrong color by then it was 1:30 p.m. I called up cedar Grove and formed them what happened and they quickly responded back and admitted fault. Somebody had mislabeled the flashing and they've given me the wrong color and they didn't have the correct flashing that I wanted at the Burnaby branch. I told the manager Brent it was imperative I get the flashing immediately before 7:30 the next morning cuz I had a crew showing up to do work based on that flashing being installed. I also told them that I wasn't about to waste another 2 and 1/2 hours of my time to come back there and pick it up since it wasn't my screw up. Brent called up the Surrey branch and promised that I would have the flashing delivered to me by 7:30 a.m. the next morning. Surprisingly true to his word the flashing was delivered to my job site at 7:15 a.m.The flashing cost me $41.35 including taxes. there was no money to be made on this flashing and Brent the manager at Cedar Grove went above and beyond to please a customer and own his mistake. This is unheard of in today's cutthroat world.To deliver this flashing from Surrey to downtown Vancouver probably cost them anywhere from $50 to $120 on a $41 product. This this type of customer service is unheard of in this day and age!Generally somebody would say the best I can do is refund you your money but if you want more flashing you have to come pick it up.For the incredible service that was provided to me the manager of Cedar Grove Brent gets an A+For screwing up my flashing and giving me the wrong color the staff in the metal shop at Cedar Grove get a B minusFor not checking the product before leaving the supplier I as a customer get a D. I will never do that again plus this five-star review is not about me it is about Brent the manager at Cedar Grove and Cedar Grove as a company."
