Pros- Lakeshore campus is great since it is situated by the lake.- Attended the Global Business Management course and I found the teaching standards okay.- Great infrastructure. Gym, computers, gaming room, food court.Cons- Lacks real placement opportunities. You'll get opportunities via emails from placement coordinator but you're on your own.

Definitely one of the few colleges that actually have a campus rather than just being in one building. It was a good experience being a student. However, the tuition for a year of studies could be lower and some teachers should be nicer.Another thing worth mentioning is that you will not be guaranteed a job related to your program of studies after you graduate.

Honestly, the faculty in my program are fantastic but the administration is disappointing, especially the financial aid department. I’ve had to call or email numerous times with concerns, and each staff member has been incredibly rude or short with me (in the most recent event, I never even heard back from them about a question). I’m too anxious to go to financial aid with any concerns.Further, they implemented a new payment schedule where either the full tuition was due before registering for classes or you had to set up a payment plan. They announced this in April, as many students were stressed about exams, and they cited their reasoning to be “a less stressful way for students to pay, so they aren’t anxious about paying at the beginning of the semester and can instead focus on their studies”. For me personally, this stressed me out MORE because I was prepping for exams and I I was concerned about having enough money for the deadline. Finally, let’s talk COVID-19: some classes are being brought back in person while others are still offered online. I cannot stress how anxious this makes me feel. My class size, according to registration, is no smaller than it was pre-pandemic and there is the new delta variant on the rise, but surely it makes sense to send thousands of college students back to campus, right? Honestly for my program specifically, there is no need to go back to campus. I know some programs require in person classes for simulations, labs etc., which I’ve heard have been completed in small groups safely, but my program has passed these sections and I don’t see why my thesis class and a counselling course would need to be in person (considering we completed 2-3 counselling classes online during the pandemic with ease). I know they’re requiring people to be vaccinated to return to campus, but the vaccines are less effective against the variant and this makes me incredibly nervous.I’m extremely disappointed in Humber’s lack of care for their students and faculty members.

Allow me to preface my review by saying that I really like Humber and would recommend the school to anyone. The residence on the other hand..... not so much. The rooms are really quite nice, a lot nicer than many residences I have encountered. But it's the meal plan I take issue with. I am a student in residence, which requires me to have a meal plan. This means that for every meal I have to eat at the Lake Cafe (or between the hours of 10-2 on weekdays run across campus and eat in the other building). If I could give less than 1 star I would. My health has taken a pretty severe hit since I've been eating here. Pretty minimal options for healthy food. But that's not the main issue I have. My problem is with the portion sizes. At the beginning of the year we used to be served a lot of food. More than enough to satisfy a person for an entire meal. But starting from about the middle of school year onwards, they have halved the portions and if you so much as ask for more food the staff say no. I've had several staff tell me they are not allowed to offer more food. It was very heavily implied to me that should one of the staff members offer more rice in a Burrito Bowl or give a few more pieces of broccoli in a stir fry, they would face reprimanding from their supervisors. I don't want to cause any trouble" one worker said with a sullen expression on their face. It really is a sad state of affairs that I desperately wish could be addressed for next years intake of students. I would hate to see them having to go to bed hungry as I have."

I went there for an IELTS exam and got amazed by the fast and efficient management. The historic building is nicely maintained. Also nearby there is colonel Samuel park, where you can spend some time with lake Ontario

The campus is beautiful with the building designs and best of all, it's close to the lake. Most of the professors are caring and show enthusiasm to their students everyday. The Admins are however bad who just want to waste the student's time and money. Cafeterias have offer overpriced & unprepared food.Program Coordinators should be at their office at all times, not being absent 24/7

Loved this school, the campus is very pleasant, the profs are super cool and friendly as well. The program I completed was the Creative Advertising degree and the program was very much like a family, and that included the profs! Definitely learned lots of lifetime knowledge as well!Aside from the school itself, the neighbourhood surrounding is very pleasant, lots of interesting places to grab a lunch, and the lake had lots of paths and parks to hang out by when the weathers nice!
