Katie was awesome. And the portion sizes were incredible twice and large as I have ever seen before and the salad had lots of dressing.This place doesn’t cheap out. That’s for sure.Great value for the money.We will be backThanks for not cutting corners and scamming people like other places.

We come to the Burlington location on Appleby Line. We have got the server named John he is the best 100%. We recommend this location & if you are lucky to get John you will be happy. He comes with drinks before you have to ask for a refill & bread. Great job John! We will be back.

I have to say I was really disappointed with our experience at Eastside Mario‘s tonight. I I ordered the Milano roasted chicken my husband ordered the seafood linguine. My husband had the fire roasted soup, which was really quite good. I had the garden salad which was fine but way too much dressing. I would order it on the side next time, my entrée came out without the goat cheese or the sun-dried tomatoes. My roasted potatoes were sitting in a soup of vegetable broth, so they were very soggy. I asked who I believe was the manager if the chicken was supposed to have goat cheese, and she said yes it should and she brought it out on the side. I also mentioned that my potatoes were soggy from the vegetable broth which I had poured out and filled a side plate with it . She said well yes, it usually does have a little bit of juice but not that much. She did not offer to bring me new potatoes. I cut into my chicken and it was raw. Also with my husband’s seafood pasta half of the mussels were not open. We never mentioned the mussels to the server, but this made it feel like the meal was just rushed out with raw chicken and unopened mussels. When I called the server back again I explained that I wasn’t going to eat the meal as the chicken was raw. He did apologize, but he didn’t offer to bring me anything else. They did deduct the meal of course because I didn’t eat it. I would’ve expected the manager to come out again and apologize, but never heard from them again. Overall, the experience was very disappointing. The server was nice, but not very effective as far as dealing with my problem with the meal. Patio had beautiful flowers. I was a server at Eastside Mario’s many years ago and this was definitely a giant decline in the experience that I was used to having there.

Had such a great experience even during these crazy times of pandemic. Everything was well cleaned and all regulations were kept.The food was amazing! My calzone came a little bit undercooked on one end, but they were quick to solve the issue for me. All very friendly and receptive.Oh, and the Italian drink they have (I forgot the name now) is really worth a try! Loved it.

Had a good experience at this location of East Side Mario’s. Things were a little hectic because we had 4 kids with us but the waitress was more than patient and the service was great. It is not advertised on the website but everyone (especially families) should know that they offer a free kid’s meal with every entree ordered on Sunday, in addition to their every day all you can eat salad/ soup and their delicious fresh garlic loaves. The kids enjoyed their meals a lot, and were pleased to know they get gelato in the end. It’s rare to find a nice place for food that offers decent kids meals that are sure to please the pickiest of eaters. As for the entrees, most of the food we ordered came in reasonable portions, except for one dish but I think the small portion is intended as it is one of their healthier entrees - the chicken with goat cheese and pesto. The chicken in that dish came out quite dry but we informed the waitress and she had the kitchen make another one which was very well cooked and juicy, complementing the toppings perfectly. The salad was delicious as well with the freshly grated Parmesan. Recommended for families more, but overall I had a pleasant experience.

I was out in Burlington one evening and decided to stop by East Side Mario's on Appleby Line for dinner with my daughter. As we arrived we were quickly seated in a dark corner booth across from a football team of very loud boys. I was not comfortable with the noise or the dark corner booth. I stopped the manager and asked for a quieter table elsewhere, his response was a quick 'no there's no other tables' as he rushed off. After 10 mins of no service we decided to leave, as we were about to walk out the manager came and offered us a large family table in a quieter location of the restaurant. We were quickly attended to by a server to take our order. I ordered spinach dip, calamari, Ceasar salad and my daughter wanted a cotton candy milkshake. We waited at least 25 minutes and nothing came to our table, including drinks. I had to stop a random server to ask for our food and drink in which they quickly went over and brought out for us. The manager brought out the hot calamari plate and I still had to ask for my daughter's drink. Finally after being in the restaurant for a total of 1 hour we got everything, in which I still paid full price. I understand they were busy, the manager tried to accommodate but the experience was NOT a good one. I would not recommend this location, the food was good, fresh and hot when we finally got it.

Good food. Double bacon carbonara was great! The unlimited bread and salad was awesome! Also, you need to try the Budda boomers. Delicious! We told them it was our friends birthday and they sang to him. Super friendly service.

First of all, I'd like to start off that I googled the menu multiple times and tried to find answers that I couldn't locate. So I called ahead of time and spoke to Alivia (Olivia)??Although I was on hold a few separate times, she was very patient as I inquired about coming to the restaurant with friends that are vegan. It turned out that my friend has not been to East Side Mario's in a long time as he wasn't sure what options were available.The hostess was able to answer our questions and advise that the pomodoro sauce (and pesto sauce), the pasta itself, the garden salad and fresh bread (as long as there's no buttery topping) was all vegan friendly.Being a non-vegan the waiter Nathan was very attentive to our individual requests and was very efficient at handling them. He was polite and spent time at all his tables.Not being a native to Burlington I chose this restaruant because there is no ESM in Niagara (my hometown). I had the chicken parm, and again, no complaints on portions and serving!I am so glad i called ahead and, made the decisions to come here! I wish there was one in my area as the salad alone would be a reason to come back.

Always a great experience at the ESM on Upper Middle and Appleby. It’s our kids favourite! Great service, friendly staff and always lots of food to go around! Highly recommended!
