Confederation Basin Marina
There must be a reason boaters from all over the Province choose Confederation Basin Marina as their marina of choice for the boating season. It’s truly second to none with its proximity to downtown and all the restaurants and shops and street vendors. There are rarely dull moments between the months of May to late October. I would recommend visiting this marina any day of the year.

Beautiful public waterfront location, just a short walk from downtown shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues.

Top notch marina. Clean showers. Free laundry. Nice inside table area.

The most professional group of people working at the marina I have ever met. They kept an eye on me as I was entering the marina and in constant contact over the radio. Harbour is tight, and on a windy day a bit stressful to get in but once you are there you are in a very exciting and active part of town.

I have had the privilege of sailing in and out of Confederation Basin, in Kingston, Ontario, for 40 years now. At no time, as in the past few years, have I experienced such unprofessional service from the ENTIRE marina staff. No one answers the phone, which is weird because three staff were at the client service desk just gabbing and/or eating. No one responds to VHF calls from inbound boats, which is weird because I saw a dockhand with a VHF. No one knows what slip to put you in, which is weird because I filled in the online registration days ago. No one serves you at the client service, which is weird because, again, three staff are sitting around gabbing and eating, paying attention to anything except the human being at the counter. This has been going on for too long. Time for a change in leadership for marina staff in my opinion. Love Kingston. KCVI student. Queens grad. Married here. I would not normally say anything, but Confed Basin is important to me, my family, and this community. It has been hard to watch the level of service decline so drastically over the past few years. That’s my 2 cents. Thanks for listening. HJ

We stayed at Confederation Marina for five days and enjoyed their facilities to the fullest. The marina staff were super helpful and very pleasant. I had a little computer issue and one of the staff loaned me her personal unit to fix my issue. Very very much appreciated the service that they gave us and will highly recommend the marina and staff.Thank you Confederation Basin Marina.Tom & Peggy

We absolutely love this place. The office staff are always very friendly and helpful. The dock hands make it a breeze to bring your boat in. There is almost always a wind making docking difficult with out the expert help. The location down town makes it a wonderful place to bring your boat.

The downtown location is great and the staff are always helpful in helping you land your boat. But the condition of the bathrooms and shower rooms was pretty gross on our visit a few days ago. Wet paper towels and shreds sat on the dirty floor for over 24 hrs. We visited the marina twice last August and these facilities were kept much cleaner at that time.
