We boarded our 2 dogs here as we were getting married and needed a place for them to stay during the very hectic festivities! The staff were friendly and helpful. My dogs tend to be a little anxious and haven’t always had the best of experiences at kennels. However when we picked them up, they seemed to be happy overall.

I have been taking my sheepadoodle to Abby lane kennels for a few years. He absolutely loves being there. The owner is extremely kind and conscientious to know the needs of each dog. She always follows through with what you want for your dog. Most importantly, I can go on a trip and know he is happy and well cared for .

First time here. Great hours, professional and careful attention to detail. Vet clinic with associated kennel facility, pets are in individual enclosures. Fair pricing.

This place is the most awful place and the vet doesn't know anything about her job she neudered my dog with massive hematoma after that which stayed for one month. She doesn't know anything about possible diagnosis and treat dogs randomly, and doesn't have any communication skills. The worst part is we put our dog for two days boarding, and when the dog came home wasn't able to walk properly and when I examed him there were lots of pain in both elbows and shoulders joints. I gave him aspirin to feel some relief, then the day after when I went to her she mentioned that she forcefully dragged him into kennel that injured both shoulders and elbows. All the time she mentioned that this pain may be due to spinal problem because she was terrified that by pulling his neck caused serious damage. She even didn,'t know that spinal problem will not cause localized pain.Unfortunately I have to add in response to Dr.Janet Reply that when I saw her still my dog was limping and science we took him to the home he had Sèvre problem too,and because of her explanation that he pulled my dog against his resistant and fear of hurting his spinal cord I lost all of my trust on her and didn't let her touch my dog again.Dog OwnerBijan Mirsaeid Ghazi

I am sure they take care of pets very well and facility seems amazing, I was very interested in having my to GSD stay here but the lady on the phone was super rude and didn’t seem like she even wanted to help? Very weird and my reasons for not booking with them.

We have taken our dog to Abbey Lane a number of times over the last few months. Staff are friendly and we are confident that our dog is well cared for.

I called to inquire about boarding our dog and to be completely honest our first impression was not the best because of the tone of voice. A new customer will not know your entire onboarding process unless you explain it to them (never assume someone has seen your website). As for the onboarding process itself, we emailed the vaccination papers and were approved for boarding. After boarding our dog we are happy to board again. He had a great time. I highly recommend doing the Kong treat and playtime add-ons. $40 for 1 night stay + the add-ons for our large dog.Update: it's been about 1-2 years since we started taking our dog here. He is never stressed going in or coming out. He is happy which means we're happy. At his previous kennel, dogs were always crying and barking, too many dogs in one place, staff just loaded them in and didn't care for the dogs' well-being -- they just took fear and said it was attitude problems. Clearly they don't understand dogs, but Dr Janet and her team are the complete opposite. We are never worried about our dog at this kennel knowing he is in capable hands. Thank you Dr Janet and team!!

Janet is a fabulous caretaker. I have left my dog here twice (booking for a third) times in the past 6 months and he always comes back happy and healthy. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking to board their dog in a safe, reliable kennel.

Dr. Walters is an excellent, caring person and a great veterinarian. We have dealt with her for nearly 30 years and she has provided care to our many cats and dogs when needed. Abbey Lane Kennels is not an exciting looking place from the outside, but we know that our animals are going to be cared for and SAFE!

The kennel itself is super clean and looks very lovely for dogs. However, the owner is extremely rude and did not follow proper feeding instructions. Even though we had to pay for 2 kennels since my dogs needed to be separated while eating, they still put my small dog in with the large dog while she was eating resulting in her coming back almost 5kg lighter after only 2.5 days. I won't be coming back because of my own personal experience.
