Cam Lo Vuong Buddhist Community Temple

My first time of visiting with my family. When we arrived, it closed for under construction without updating it on its website and it shows opening while it’s closed for public visits.

It was still relatively new. My family and I went here for the lunar new year in 2019. The Buddha was wrapped up. It’s really spacious, and I’m sure it will all be beautiful once fully completed.

My experience at Cam Lo Vuong Temple did not meet my expectations, and I have been to many temples over the past years. While I acknowledge the temple's commendable work, I encountered certain concerns that cast doubt on the sincerity and authenticity of the overseeing monk. I observed behaviour that appeared rude and disconnected, lacking compassion towards visitors. Moreover, I had reservations about the allocation of donation funds.Furthermore, I noticed issues within the (old) temple's environment that detracted from the overall experience. The presence of mice and mold in the basement was concerning, posing potential health risks for visitors. It was disheartening to witness food being served under such conditions, and the general cleanliness of the temple appeared substandard, creating a gloomy atmosphere.Another disappointment was the limited accessibility of the temple to the public, as the doors were consistently locked, which could inconvenience certain visitors.Additionally, it is important to emphasize that donations should come from the heart, and individuals should not be judged based on the amount they contribute. True generosity lies in the sincerity and intent behind the donation, rather than the monetary value. It is crucial for the temple and its monk to foster an environment that appreciates and respects every visitor, regardless of the size of their donation.In summary, while I hold the work of Cam Lo Vuong Temple in high regard, there are areas that necessitate improvement. I hope that the temple and its monk will take the necessary steps to address these concerns and cultivate a more inviting and secure environment for all visitors.

Still under construction but I heard they will be done in Spring 2020. Also, they have Vegan food every Sunday. Everyone is welcome to come

I can't wait to see the construction is completed. It is a very nice temple to stop at whenever you are in Vaughan.

It's been a longtime the temple is not changing. Still the same condition. Look like it desperately needs funding to carry on. Too bad some money from Đại Gia Vietnamese would be nice. It s about time those from insde the country should contribute. Not just locals. For many years Việt kiều had done good for the country. Come on Vietnam, Quick! Wire some money for this project. If you dont trust anyone. IB me.I will refer....Continue.....Today I have some time off and would like to revisit Cam Lo Vuong Pagoda a place that I do care. I have seen some progress. Despite the weather was minus 3 and with a wind chill in the middle of the field it must have felt like minus '100....!!! well it was cold. I saw some workers or perhaps volunteers that working inside the Temple

Brand new and still build pagoda. It will be an attraction when finished. Worth the drive.
