Honestly the best music shop ive ever been to. Ive taken multiple guitars, multiple times for repairs and its always done in a week or less! Great all around service. Staff is always ready to answer any questions and everyone is very passionate about their craft. You guys rock!

One of my favorite guitar shops! Excellent selection, great prices and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, very helpful. They actually make sure your guitar is cleaned and you get all the case candy that comes with it, which isn't always the case at some shops. This is the way a shop should be.

A special place to hang out, loads of guitars with great musical atmosphere. Friendly store agents helped me found a great XLR cable and told me some audio tips. Always feeling nice to visit music stores.

I bought my first guitar here about 15 years ago and go here to get it serviced from time to time.I buy my guitar picks here.I bought ear plugs from this place.I've purchased several headphones (just got a new set today actually).I've been a long time customer and everything has always been great except for one thing.Whenever I'm there there's almost always at least one staff member who gives off a suspicious, wary vibe...as if they don't expect me (a *black* musician) to be there. They recently hired a lightskin dude with dreads and yet this still occurs. They are always playing rock music (something invented primarily by black people like Chuck Barry) and yet this still happens. Even today as I decided to just walk through the electric guitar stacks I was watched like a hawk by one of the staff who even came from behind their desk to keep an eye on me (I can't imagine anyone being able to easily lift and run off with a Jackson electric in hand without being seen).Its a bit farther but honestly I think I'm considering making the trip to long & McQuade to avoid this all together as its chipped away at my enjoyment of this place.

Went with my son recently, so he could buy a guitar (with his own money) that he'd been scoping out for a while. Purchase went totally fine and staff was courteous and made some final adjustments, but I really wanted to give a great review based on how my teenage son was treated when he was there by himself, a few weeks earlier. I'm told the staff treated him respectfully and with kindness, letting him try out a variety of pretty expensive guitars without any hassle. He said he spent over an hour playing different guitars while trying to decide. He ended up buying a beautiful (Canadian made!) Godin Stadium HT. Much appreciated!

Tried to go here today at the Queen and Spadina store, never been a fan of their service, raced after work to get there at 5:50pm, as quick as I could before closing at 6pm - closed, with someone leaving the door. Don’t advertise being open until 6pm if you’re going to close early, I just needed to get a quick power cable for a Strymon pedal.

I enjoyed my latest visit there. Helpful staff and clean place. I wish I could afford the guitar I want though. Keep up the awesome customer service all

Just hit up the store before closing time on Sat July 3, and there were others lined up to get in.Due to restrictions only 3 customers in at a time.The staff were great and understanding but we were just browsing and wanted to give others a chance to shop, so it was just a quick look.My husband says my kid should have got the PRS pictured at that price, but we were heading to a concert and didn't want to lug it around.We will definitely be back when restrictions are lifted and we have more time available to look around and shop.

Had a wonderful experience with Steve's Music. They were the only place in Canada that had the specific PA speakers I was looking for. Their website was easy to navigate, checkout was a breeze, and shipping was super fast to me here in Winnipeg!! Definitely will be doing business again :)
