It was really great to see the graves and remember those that list their lives. Nice that there's some information about some of the people too. I found Jack Dawson's stone too.

Interesting to learn the sea travel is not as safe as we innocently thought.Only low number of the bodies those who died were properly buried and many are unnamed

A sacred space. Very special to visit the stones and learn about the identified persons.

A long time coming as a 44 year Titanic aficionado, a subtle, non-extravagant and moving place to visit. A small corner of the cemetery, clearly marked, the last resting place for 150+ of the victims of the Titanic disaster brought to shore by the Mackay Bennett in 1912. This is not a sideshow or exhibition but the final resting place and memorials to hundreds who died under the most appalling of conditions on the cold April night.

Seems chills. If you stand away you notice the top grave stones make a ships hull. Also there was no Jack Dawson. He was made up in the movie.

This a wonderful old graveyard that is peaceful and beautiful despite being in a bustling city. Fairview was definitely worth the visit if you enjoy history.

Always had been a bucket list visit for a long time and it didn't disappoint. We used the Hop on / hop off bus to get from the Cruise terminal to get here whick takes you via the citadel, Agricola Street and the Hydrostone District to get you there and is a great bus tour.Fairview Lawn Cemetery is beautiful and serene and of course has 121 victims buried here. There are clear information boards and signposts. The site is beautifully maintained and we paid our respects, had a quiet walk around before continuing our bus tour. There are another 10 victims buried nearby in the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery which was closed at the time of our visit.

Interesting place. You need to research the back story to really understand what you are seeing. Without that, you will have a lot of questions... We knew the history and told a few people who didn't know while we were there...
